Damon got off the floor and dusted his knees. Tyler walked up to Lia and handed her a bouquet of lilies.
"I know they're your favorite".
"They're gorgeous. Thank you, Tyler".
She patted his cheek and fetched a vase from one of the shelves. The room suddenly felt quiet. Mindy stood next to Alexa and folded her arms in frustration. Something had clearly happened between her and Tyler. "What was that about?" Alexa said softly, making sure no one else could hear them.
Mindy waved her question away. "I'll tell you about it later".
She brushed away the topic, without a second thought.
