"You bought me a stuffed animal as a souvenir?" Mindy held the toy in her hands.
"It's not just any animal. It's a monkey climbing a tree. Just like you". He patted her head and smiled at her.
"That's really…thoughtful". Damon said looking away. Alexa pinched his arm. "Be nice".
"Thank …you" Mindy blurted out the words and hugged the stuffed toy. "I love it".
Tyler looked surprised. He kept waiting for her to throw a fit, but she was as calm as ever. They grabbed their bags and got onto the escalator going down. Mindy was thrilled to be back, and she was certainly chirpier than usual. Alexa's vision blurred a little, making her sway and bump into Damon.
