Alexa saw one of the bulbs flicker as she sank to the bottom of the tub. She tried not to think about all the things running through her mind and found herself in a dark space soon after. She hadn't relapsed in a while and dreaded the thought of it. Just when she thought things were finally looking brighter, she heard the horrid voice come to life again.
" Enjoying yourself?" It asked her, underwater. Alexa shook her head, making the voice go away.
" Do you not remember, Aleja. You ruined our lives. How can you be happy after doing what you did?" The voice carried on speaking to her like a guilty conscience.
