Andre's POV
Conflicted Desire
All I hear is a loud shout from the stairs that leads to the roof.
My wolf leaps aggressively, and I can't help the unease I feel.
Without telling Jake what was going on, I leave him and race towards the direction of the yell.
The moment I arrive there, I find Lily falling from the stairs and Irina watching her with a wide shock on her face.
I put out my hands to catch Lily, and she fall perfectly into my hands.
Something strange happened to me at that moment. The touch of her skin made me feel like she was familiar and I needed to keep her safer.
I couldn't regulate the burst of emotions I feel within. I hated the fact that she could have really been injured if I had not gotten there in time.
I place her down immediately.
