Lily's POV
Fractured Illusions
I freeze yet again. My eyes open wide as I think through the words that spill fast from Andre’s lips.
"Wait, what? It was you?”
The smirk on his face as his eyes reached into my soul as though there were a deeper attraction coming to life in that same moment.
I take my eyes off him and force myself to hold still as his scent fills me even more. More like an intoxication.
He grabs my hand and checks it.
His head tilts to the side as he looks at my wrist like he expected to see something on it.
