They all watched me sit for a while before the discussion hit.
“We heard and have come to confirm that you were seen going into the Moon Howl pack all by yourself? Going against every law of protection that we have made to keep our people secure.” An elder of the pack says.
“I would like to know if currently there is any member of the pack who doesn't feel safe to be in this pack."
They all go quiet again.
The older beta, Darius, stands up, holding fast to his walking aid as he says, “You have indeed kept us safe all these years, and there hasn't been a war you did not win. Nonetheless, your people fear that you are taking the wrong step by thinking of getting us a Luna from the Moon Howl pack.”
