WHEN TOM TURNED BACK to look, the moor lion’s fur had taken on a dark blue glow. He reached out to touch the moor lions back when a burst of light exploded from its head dislodging Pony and tossing her across the grass. She transformed into a human female form as she rolled.
The moor lion rose and turned to face Tom. He was stunned by the size of the beast. Tom flashed the moor lion a wicked grin and said, “You’re just a big p***y,” He dove into the beast, talons flashing.
Nana and the children rushed around the battle to where Pony lay unmoving. Mikado cradled Pony’s head his arms and looked to Nana. Pony was covered in gashes. Her wounds pulsed with her life blood. She glanced at the twins as they began to cry.
