Chapter Seven
“This is a bad idea,” Nicole grumbled as they neared the cave where she hid the norbotds.
Sarah frowned and said, “You said if you kept them fed they would behave.”
Nicole grimaced, “I was speaking figuratively. I didn’t know you were going to want to play fetch with them.”
Cabal sighed and stepped in front of them. “Nicole, will they lead us to a creature of light magic?”
“Possibly,” Nicole stopped and flashed Cabal a defiant glare. “They could just as easily lead us to a pack of acid demons. I don’t think they can distinguish the difference between light and dark magic. Frankly, why would they bother? It’s kill or be killed so why would they care?”
