Quevo was so full of joy and excitement about the positive outcome of the serum he just created.
Despite the ethical concerns, he believes that his serum can be used to help people with genetic diseases or injuries that require rapid healing. He conducts a series of experiments on animals and then on a few volunteers who agree to be transformed into werewolves.
Everything seems to be going well until one of the test subjects, a young woman, starts to show signs of uncontrollable rage and aggression. She attacks the other subjects and breaks out of the laboratory, running into the city. Within hours, the first reports of a werewolf sighting reach the police.
Quevo realizes that something has gone wrong with his experiment. He tries to stop the transformation process, but it's too late. The serum has spread to the other subjects, and they're turning into werewolves too. The city is soon overrun by a pack of bloodthirsty creatures that are faster, stronger, and more dangerous than anything the world has ever seen.
Quevo was disestablished; he felt like a loser; he felt guilty because he knew that he had allowed his curiosity to get the best of him.
He realized his mistake; he knew he should have created an antidote along with the serum in case things went bad, but he was too reckless to know that.
Quevo reached out to his group of friends, “Tanal Group,” for help, but the whole thing became out of control and beyond their power. Something needs to be done. Several experiments and tests were ongoing; they were trying so hard to get an antidote for the outburst.
As peaceful as Banawa City is, things turn upside down during that period. People in Banawa started living in fear; markets and other businesses were closed because no one came out because of fear of werewolves attacking them.
The government of Banawa City had to impose compulsory lockdown on its people and even restrict people and other villagers from coming into the city pending the finding of a lasting solution.
It became an issue of concern to the government of Banawa City, and they had to seek help from other residing states. Help started flying in to rescue the people of Banawa, but it still resulted in futility. Quevo and the Tanal Group had an idea, but it was all in vain. After a lot of trial and error for the people of Banawa city, still, nothing could be done to save them.
The government of Banawa City put Quevo behind bars, but they later released him because they realized they still needed his help in resolving the calamity he brought upon the land.
As a result of the calamity that has befallen the city, traders, marketers, and shop owners have had to close their shops. The people of Banawa started complaining about hunger and money. So, the government had to step in and find a way to provide food for the people to avoid starvation in the land.
They had to employ the services of a robot to distribute foodstuffs to the doorsteps of each resident of the city. They took it upon themselves to take care of and provide for their citizens.
Things went from bad to worse as the number of werewolves spread increased dramatically. Werewolves were attacking the residents, and it was so alarming that everyone was tensed, and all the help they have been getting didn't change anything.
Things went on like this for months, leaving the peaceful people of Banawa in distress, hunger, and severe pain. Students couldn't go to school, including workers; everyone just had to adjust to the new way of life pending when a lasting solution comes.
The military is called in, but they're quickly overwhelmed by the sheer number of werewolves. The survivors of the initial attack, including Quevo, a police officer, a nurse, and the Tanal group, joined forces and tried to find a way to reverse the effects of the serum. So, they all came together and decided to seek external help from people they know. Quevo had to somehow, with the help of the security agencies, travel back to meet his family to let them know what was happening and to also seek help in case they knew anything that could be of help.
The research was still ongoing, as the number of werewolves kept increasing daily, but there was still no solution. Quevo was almost running mad because he knew he brought this upon himself as a result of his reckless behavior.
He just knew he had to find a way to fix the mess that he caused; everyone was accusing him of being too selfish and desperate.
Confusion and frustration set in for Quevo and his team members. That same night, Quevo dozed off on the couch in the sitting room, snoring heavily like someone who got drunk. Then, in his dream, he saw his mother; he jumped for joy and began screaming, telling her how frustrated he is. His mother comforted him and told him not to worry, that she would help him and that his problem would be solved. He was happy to hear that his mother told him what to do in his dream, and when he awoke excited and strong, he realized he had been dreaming.
So he later discovered from the dream that the key to reversing the transformation is a rare herb that only grows in a remote part of the country.
He returned to Banawa to give them the good news. Yay.. Everyone was so full of joy and excitement
