CHAPTER 6

I woke up with my head aching. I opened my eyes to findmyself in an unfamiliar room. I tried to sit up but failed. I tried to speakbut my throat was dry as a desert. A girl came in and saw me and screamed. Thedoctor came in who I think was the pack doctor. He asked me how I was feelingand I could not speak anything so I nodded my head.

He gave me a glass of water and said something to the nurse.I gulped down the whole glass of water. The door opened and I looked up to seethat it was Blake. He looked like he went for a run because he was sweating. Hehad huge dark circles under his eyes. "Cassie!! oh my god I am so happythat you woke up. I was so worried" said Blake hugging the life out of me.

"I am fine Blake. What happened to me??" I askedhugging him back. "You hit your head really bad when and then you passedout for 3 days." said Blake checking my head. "FOR 3 DAYS??" Isaid with a shocked expression. " yeah!! you hit your head pretty bad. Thebleeding was not stopping but after a day when we checked your head it wascompletely healed like a miracle." said the pack doctor with an amusedexpression.

"when can we shift her to our room back?? asked Blake."you can shift her now Alpha after I give her some painkillers that willhelp her with the headache." said the pack doctor. He gave me somemedicines which were to be eaten after I eat something.

I tried to get up but Blake stopped me and picked me upbridal style and carried me to our room. He placed me on the bed and I gotunder the covers. He placed a kiss on my head and went to the kitchen to bringsome food. I looked around the room and it looked like no one was here fordays. Blake came back with a tray filled with food that smelled amazing. Iquickly ate everything up. "Why did you get some proper sleep Blake. Youlook like you haven't slept for days." I said looking at his face. He justnodded his head and took the empty tray from me. I have started to get worriedabout him. He doesn't seem take proper care of himself.

After eating I ate the pills given by the doctor while Blakewent to shower. I turned to my side and closed my eyes. After a while I feltBlake climbing in bed scooting me towards him. I started to drift to sleep andheard Blake whisper "I love you Cassie".

I woke up and tried to cover my eyes from the shinning raysof the sun. I turned my head towards Blake who was still sleeping. He lookedreally cute when he sleeps I thought to myself. I moved my hand and placed itom his chest. He was not wearing a shirt which made me stare at his sexy abs.

"take a picture it will last longer baby" saidBlake kissing my head. "when did you wake up?" I asked him smiling."just now. How are you feeling?" he asked looking a little worried."I am totally fine but really hungry." I said s my  stomach grumbled. He laughed and got up andwent downstairs.

"I am making breakfast today." he shouted. I gotup and went towards the bathroom. I looked at myself in the mirror and gasped.My head was tied in bandages, my eyes red and my face pale. why are my eyesred?? I thought to myself. 'do you know why Cassidy?' I asked my wolf and theirwas no response. what is happening to me and why is my wolf not responding.

I washed my faced and headed downstairs. The smell ofpancakes was all over the place. I sat on a chair while watching Blake makingpancakes. I went up to him and hugged him from behind. "these pancakessmell sooo amazing" I said. "can you grab two plates Cass" hesaid flipping the pancakes. I got two plates and he placed the pancakes in them.

We sat and started to eat. "Blake there's somethingwrong with my wolf and my eyes" I said looking at him. He looked up andsaid "What's wrong with your eyes. it seems fine to me and what do youmean by something is wrong with your wolf?". "MY EYES WERE BLOOD REDTHIS MORNING AND MY WOLF IS NOT REPLYING TO ME AT ALL" I said.

"Your eyes are totally fine Cassie and about your wolfwe can go talk to someone I know. Okay?" He said with a worriedexpression. "Okay" I said and finished my pancakes.

After eating we cleaned up the table. "I have to go forsome pack business Cassie so I will send Taylor and my brother Jake whom youhaven't met yet. Okay?" he said hugging me. "please don't go." Isaid burying my face in his shoulder. "I have to go Cass. I promise I willbe back soon." he said. "please stay for at least an hour." Isaid looking at him. "Okay fine but only if you kissed me" he saidsmirking.

I got up on toes and I bring my lips to his and the I feelthe sparks on my skin. This is what I have been longing for my whole life. If Icould only feel one thing for the rest of my life, this would be it. All I wantto focus on is the way he presses his body against mine. He pushed me backagainst the wall and pinning me. The way his mouth tastes like mint the kind oftaste I have never tasted in my life. My tongue somehow follows his. He deepensthe kiss.

I bury my fingers in his hair, gently tugging it and a lowgrowl growl erupted from his throat making me giggle. "well that wasintense and I think I should go now" he said smiling. He kissed me onemore time and then left. I think I am on my own for some time until Taylor andJake come. can't wait to meet Jake I thought to myself.
