I was so caught up in my emotions that I didn't pause to think what Turk would think about her absence.
But that was good. It wasn't like I planned to sit back and watch him make my woman his. And with Lamido’s daughter now in the picture, I doubt Turk would have any interest in the human when he wanted to solidify his power even more.
