Jill felt like crying.  She was about to lose the one good friend that she had made in this place.  Now, she had to see her off to the airport where she was flying to live in the states?  This wasn’t happening!             “Kat, please don’t go.  You’re my best friend.”             “You’re not losing me, Jill.  I’ll always be around.  Just pick up the phone and dial.  Plus, you’ll be gaining two new roommates since our rooms will be free.  I bet you’ll forget all about us before you know it.  Chin up, huh?”             “Yeah.  Don’t you forget me.”             “How could I ever?  I’ll miss you.”             “I’ll miss you too.” They hugged one last time before Kat had to be on her way.             “I’ll miss you too little Meralei.”             “Bye,” Meralei chimed giving Jill a farewell kiss on the cheek.             “Calling flight 326.”             “Well, you’d better get going.  Bye, Ms. Brazilson.”             “Bye, doll.  You’ve been so good to my girl since I left.  You take care, hear me?”             “Yes.  You as well.”             “Last call for flight 326.”             “Mother, we oughta get going before we miss our plane.”             “Yes, dear.” They all said their last goodbyes as Kat, Rebecca, and Meralei wondered off into the crowd to not return.  Well, at least not for a while.  Kat was sure she’d be back to visit.  She was sure of it and she wasn’t going to let her friend down.  She wanted to see her happy and she knew that coming back to Australia as often as possible would do the trick.
