Wait a Minute

　　After Mary Yun had left, Tingchen was somewhat frustrated that he unbuttoned his collar.

　　Then he lit up a cigarette.

　　The snow outside stopped again.

　　After having clothes folded, she realized that they had used up articles for daily use.

　　Linda Yun thanked her, came to her mother‘s side, made sure she was in sound sleep and left.

　　A black Maybach Zeppelin quietly zoomed into the hospital.

　　A man whose hair was groomed with pomade trotted to the limo.

　　The vehicle pulled over steadily.

　　Joe GuoSecretary Joe Guo hopped off the limo first, walked to the back and pulled open the door.

　　"Mr. Huo, you don‘t have to come here in person. Just believe me, I‘ve arranged the best doctors for him. Everything will just be alright." This man came close to him, beaming.

　　The man who he was flattering was nobody else but the legendary figure of Austral City－－ Michael Huo.

　　That man got out of the limo. He was in a black mask.

　　A little mask could never abate his powerful status.

　　"Mr... Mr. Huo..." Manager Wang suddenly stuttered, "Well, well... I, I‘ve already..."

　　"Mr. Wang, are you talking too much?" Joe Guo interrupted him coldly.

　　On hearing this, Manager Wang shut his mouth and did not dare to give a word without any permission.

　　"Guide us." The man said with an impassive expression and did not meet Mr. Wang‘s eyes.

　　"Yes, Sir, yes!" Manager Wang quivered a bit and dashed forward without any hesitation.

　　It was already past 7：00 in the evening. People were busy with their work during the day.

　　While they got away from workplace and came to the hospital to take a visit in the evening.

　　Michael Huo did not have Joe Guo make a phone to the hospital director in advance for he wanted to avoid turmoils.

　　He was pretty conspicuous in the crowd, which should be due to his 6.5－feet body height.

　　The sense of indifference around Michael Huo made the surrounding crowd spontaneously stay a little bit away from him.

　　Soon the elevator arrived. The rest of the crowd were afraid of him.

　　But they lowered their heads and squeezed into for it was too hard to wait for another one.

　　Joe Guo tipped Wang a wink, and entered the elevator immediately with Guo closely behind.

　　Both of them were standing beside Michael Huo as his body guards to keep a distance between others and their boss.

　　"Wait, wait for me..." It was Linda Yun, a washbasin in one hand and a huge plastic bag in the other, that was dashing to them through the crowd.

　　"Please let me through, please let me through."

　　Mary Yun dashed into the elevator just before the door was to close.

　　The door closed.

　　"Yep, finally." Linda Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

　　This first－class hospital was just always full of people, while it merely had seven or eight elevators for use.

　　It just could not build more elevators to meet flows of patients.

　　It took Linda Yun ten minutes to wait for one and she squeezed into it to get to the first floor.

　　But she was lucky to get into the elevator in the end.

　　However, as the elevator went upward, it was stuffed with more and more people.

　　Linda Yun could do nothing but step backward. Then her back touched a masculine body.

　　Indescribably, she felt surrounded by an extreme sense of coldness.

　　She frowned and tried to turn to see who it was.

　　But suddenly, the elevator clicked to a stop.

　　Instantly, the electricity was cut off.

　　"Ah, ah, ah, what‘s going on?" Screams burst out.

　　The elevator was stuck!

　　"Shut up!"

　　"Don‘t panic, whoever makes a call or presses the emergency button!"

　　Someone reacted, lightened up the elevator with cellphone flash light and pressed that button.

　　Then a voice came out of nowhere.

　　"Please do not panic, we are getting the system into operation now. Please stay calm, it won‘t last long." An announcement came from the elevator speaker.

　　It was not until then that people stopped making noises but they were still murmuring in dissatisfaction.

　　"Mr. Huo..." Joe Guo frowned and lowered his voice. He was worried about him.

　　Linda Yun was standing in the front. She had thought she was lucky to have caught the elevator but it turned out...

　　Why did he push me away in this narrow space!

　　"You‘ve stepped on my foot." A cold voice echoed from above.

　　Linda Yun lowered her head to check, but it was too dark to see anything. She moved her foot away.

　　"What? What are you saying?‘ The caller at the other side was completely confused.

　　"Honey, don‘t worry. I‘ll be right there." Linda Yun hung the phone up swiftly. She was sweating like a pig.

　　Ding, the elevator door opened.

　　This sudden light took these people formerly in the dark to adjust for a while.

　　Tingchen was still in a mask, and he looked as if he was searching something in the crowd.

　　People started to gather in front of elevators once again.

　　Linda Yun ran out of the elevator and climbed up the stairs directly.

　　When she reached the 14th floor, she felt she was about to faint.

　　Barbara Fangleaned forward, then stood upright, held her cheek and pondered for a while, Yeah, you did have some smell!

　　Linda Yun giggled on seeing her her jaw, "Everybody knows it, right? The richest guy in Austral City is engaged."

　　"That‘s right..." Kui frowned. The she asked, "Do you think they will invite you to the party?"

　　Linda Yun shrugged her shoulders and said, "What do you think?"

　　Fang curled her lips and murmured, "How come she lives a luxurious life and you..."

　　"Kui!" Linda Yun cut her words immediately, "You don‘t have to feel unfair for me. And I don‘t think it‘s inappropriate anyway."

　　Barbara Fangbit her lip. She knew that as long as her mother was in good health, it would be enough for her best friend.

　　"Well, right, I‘ve just gone to the payment office, they told me that you‘ve already paid all the fees. Where did you get that huge sum of money?"

　　Kui held her hands and consoled her, "Everything is gonna be fine. God bless her. I‘ll accompany you here on the operation day."
