Far away, inside a vast chamber, silence reigned like a suffocating fog. Dozens of men stood stiffly along the walls, some seated, yet none dared to stir, let alone speak. Even breathing too loudly felt like an invitation to death. At the heart of the room stood a grand glass table — no longer pristine. Upon it were several severed human heads, grotesquely displayed like offerings to some cruel god. Warm blood still streamed from the ragged necks, staining the once-clear glass, dripping in steady rivulets onto the polished white floor. Sunlight through the tall windows caught the crimson trails, turning them into ghastly streaks of light. The wide, frozen eyes of the heads glared in eternal terror, their silent screams etched into the stillness. Any who looked closely would recognize them
