Chapter TwelveAgnes pulled up her collar as she made her way out of the Sage. It seemed to have turned colder since she entered the building. Or had it simply been very warm inside? Whatever the reason, she certainly felt the chill now she was back out in the open. She slowly made her way back down the steps and across the Millennium Bridge. Without making it blatantly obvious she was observing them, Agnes gave a fleeting glance at each person as they passed by. For all she knew, the man in the black coat could be one of them. Back on the other side of the river, she decided to pop into her favourite café for a glass of wine. When the weather was clement, she usually chose to sit at one of the tables outside.
