Chapter ThirteenOutside the café, Sergeant Andrews gave his instructions to the detectives. He stressed they were not here to make an arrest. They were simply to look out for the man in question and, should they see him, follow him as far as possible. “If you get even a hint your cover is blown, call in to the station and get a new face to take over.
