Chapter 5

By mid morning we were on the road heading north towards Fishing Bridge, We stopped in Lake Village for breakfast, then on to Fishing Bridge to catch a shower and check out the fishing conditions. I was sitting on my bike waiting for Greg, when he came back from checking out the showers. They take quarters for three minutes, they remind me of the ones we had in Iraq, pretty primitive, too bad there's so many people around, we could take one together two for one," I giggled "nobody will say anything," I said "go get some quarters lover, I'll get our towels and soap." No one was watching, so I went in first, Greg showed up with a pocket full of quarters, we quickly stripped and let the fun begin. We quickly washed each other paying particularly close attention to each other's private areas, then things got very personal, I went down on Greg, then he gave me the same attention in my lower places. We worked fast, but had a pile of quarters ready popping them in as needed. We limited our "playtime" to $1.50 so both of us quickly dressed, and made sure to leave the shower separately Greg was told that the fishing was pretty good a little north of here at LeHardy falls, so we motored up there, pulling into a small turnout. Grabbing his fishing gear, Greg and I began to hike back along the stream, deciding on a nice little spot, Greg found a rock to stand on and started casting out his line. I found another rock to sit on and watch my man, carefully and with precision, Greg cast his line then reeled it in, casting it back out in a slightly different direction. In a very short time he had a bite without releasing any slack, he reeled in a nice cutthroat, placing it in a small cooler he was using as a creel, he smiled at me "Supper babe," He continued to fish for another half an hour, and about the time he was ready to quit, caught another cutthroat, this one slightly smaller. Since according to park rules, he had reached his limit we decided to return to Fishing Bridge and eat the fish now rather than later. I bought some fry mix at the general store along with a small bottle of wine as well as a spatula, which Greg said we had but I couldn't find. We prepared the fish at a nearby cleaning station scaling and filleting them then putting everything on ice. We rode back north until we found a nice shady picnic site near the sulphur caldron. Greg fried everything up on our little primus stove, and with the wine, enjoyed a romantic lunch dining on fresh fish. There was a short hiking trail, so we took a stroll after lunch, hugging and kissing like teenagers. Back on the road, we headed towards the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Artist Point. We rolled past the Yellowstone river it was too late in the day to spot any moose or elk feeding in the water, arriving at the parking lot, we were able to park in a corner way from the cars, grabbing our camera, we strolled down the steps to the observation area. We had to wait for a few minutes for the crowd to clear out, the were able to get some shots of the falls and the "Grand Canyon" of the Yellowstone. Greg and I waited a few more minutes for it to clear enough to take each others pictures, as well as get ours taken together by another biker. It was around three in the afternoon so we decided to head back to camp, then Greg suggested we ride up to the trail ride place to double check our reservations. The stable was only a short ways up the road, so we rode there and checked things out; they had our reservation for tomorrow, so we jumped back on the bikes and headed home. Back in camp, we walked back over to our friend's camp. We didn't stay as long since tomorrow was a "get up at the crack of dawn" day, I wanted to see wildlife and Greg claimed that was the only way. While Greg and Eric went to get beer Rachel Emily and I stood around and talked about the stupid things we'd seen people do while at Yellowstone, as well as telling each other dirty jokes. Rachel told me that today she and her boyfriend Eric hiked to Fairy Falls near the Lower Geyser basin finding nobody around they went "skinny-dipping "in the falls, "There was a young couple that walked in on us, who wanted to join in but said there were people not far behind them so we had to get out and get dressed real quick." For the most part, we sat around again and talked about stuff we did at home and rides we'd taken, around 9:00 Greg and I said goodbye to everyone, they were leaving in the morning, so we wished them a safe ride home.
