Juniper stood in the queue and booked a ticket to Honolulu, Hawaii. She didn’t know anyone there and that seemed like a good place to start over. She sat down close to the boarding gate and closed her eyes again. With the fence sending her the money, she didn’t need to go to Texas and beg a friend to let her sleep on their couch. She could head straight to Hawaii, drink a cocktail from a coconut shell and relax in the sun. She had a few hours before the flight left and mentally she replaced her wardrobe, found a little place near the beach and stretched out on a sunchair, listening to the waves and holding a cocktail in her hand.
