I silently took out all my clothes from the wardrobe, preparing to pack them into my suitcase. But just as I was about to start, I froze. 'Wasn't I supposed to leave without a trace? What the hell am I doing?' Letting out a sigh, I put each piece of clothing back in place. It was only then that I realized—I didn't own much to begin with. Most of my clothes were old, worn from years of neglect. For the past ten years of marriage, I had dedicated myself to being a good wife and mother. I never cared about my own appearance. Even when shopping, my attention was always on Alaric and Laurence, never myself. I had completely ignored my own needs. Looking at my pitifully small collection of clothes compared to Alaric's neatly arranged suits and casual wear, I could only manage a bitter smile.
