Dana looked down at herself realizing for the first time that her clothes were streaked with dirt, grime, and smears of chocolate. She had no doubt the chocolate had come from the shop, but the other things? Probably the parking lot behind the shop, the warehouse and who knew where else.
“You know what? Clean clothes sounds amazing but I need a shower first. Is there somewhere I can shower?” She looked around the small room. There were two doors leading off it. One she knew was to the hall, the other she assumed was a closet. But if they had places to sleep, they had to have places to get clean.
“Of course.” Maverick moved to the other door in the room and swung it open to reveal a small bathroom. “You can shower in here. You’re safe in the clubhouse, but I’ll stay here so we can go down
