JENNIE'S POV
It has been two days since the event happened. I am walking inside our company, walking towards Jisoo's office because I wanted to ask her why the hell did she not wait for me and get here all by herself? How rude that was?
We only need to come to our office to report about the event and to check some updates inside the company.
I was ready to nag at her. I am standing outside her door I was going to give her a surprise nag early this morning but when I opened the door I saw Jisoo sitting in her swivel chair and it was faced to the windows that are closed and the blinds are shut I could see a blonde girl that I supposed sitting on her lap? Is this some kind of Fifty Shades of Kim, Jisoo? Okay, Jisoo what the f**k?? Gross.
I stepped inside her office quietly but then I heard the girl talks. "Are you guys going back to Australia now?" it was Rosé. What are they talking about?
"I am afraid that we are." I heard Jisoo's voice.
I stepped back but I am still listening to them. I know listening to others' business is unethical. But I'm curious and they both sound so serious.
"We just decided to come back here because our fathers want us to go to that event." Jisoo said sadly.
I was listening to them carefully. Jisoo's voice was really sad. "I can't let Jennie go back there alone. She's my sister and my best friend for life. I'm really sorry." Jisoo said and I could hear that they are both sobbing
My heart breaks hearing how hard it is for Jisoo to leave this place. This is her home. This is where her heart belongs.
"It's okay baby, I understand. Don't cry okay?" Rosé said to her. Rosé was trying to pull herself together even though she is also hurting.
Yes, we only decided to come back here because of that event. That's the only reason, nothing less nothing more.
Well, that was I thought. I am so selfish for not thinking about Jisoo's feelings. She's always there for me. She's even willing to go back to Australia with me and be far from her lover.
"I love you so much my chipmunk. Everything will be fine. We just maybe need to learn how LDR works, right? And I will come here every time I got a chance. I don't care how many hours we got but I will. If that's only five hours of break from the office. I will grab that chance to see you. It is only 10 hours and 30 minutes away from you when I am in Australia. We could meet once a week." Jisoo said explaining to Rosé while they are both crying
That's true love over there. I can't help but cry silently. I don't want to ruin their moment together.
"I love you too, yes everything will be fine. Just promise me you will call me every night or every chance you have." Rosé told her and Jisoo repeatedly said "Yes." To her girl.
They both hug each other and I left her office crying. Jisoo and Rosé should be together. I don't have the right to take that away from them. They are really in love. I can't be in between them. They are too precious and they are happy together.
So happy.
I went to my office and take a deep breath and dialed someone on my phone.
LISA'S POV
I'm inside my office looking up to my ceiling fidgeting my pen. The scene back at the event is still playing inside my head. I can't shut it down. My mind is being an ass.
My thoughts were interrupted when someone knocks. "Come in." I said.
The door swung open and it was Megan. What is she doing here? I mean, I am not questioning her it is just she did not call before coming, I guess?
"H-hey." I greeted her and stands up.
"Why are you here early this morning, babe?" I asked her.
"Because I miss you." She said sweetly.
"Oh come here." I said and she steps closer to me.
"Did you have your breakfast?" I asked her and she shakes her head.
"Let's go eat? You don't starve yourself." I said to her while holding her chin.
Megan is a beautiful girl. She's a complete package. How can I tell? Well, she's beautiful, elegant, has a brilliant mind, thoughtful, kind and all the good traits.
We met a year ago.
Start of Flashback
"Alone?" a girl asked me. I was on the bar that night. It was a rough day for me and all I needed was good wine and then I found her there.
"Yep." I answered her uninterestingly.
"I am not talking to you to hook up, just so you know." She was straightforward that night.
"I mean, we can talk about nothing and everything. You don't need to kiss me on my lips and undressed me." She said laughing and I couldn't help but smile at her because she was blunt.
"I'm Megan." She introduces herself and gestured for shake hands.
"Lisa." I said as I shake her hand.
That night made me forget about everything I've been going through. She's really fun to be with. She's outgoing, she could make me smile in times I really needed it. I even forgot about Jennie that night.
I told her everything, it wasn't easy for me to open up to anyone especially to strangers but Megan was different. She's a different case. She made me forget about the monsters under my bed. She helps me builds up myself again.
We continued talking and talking then until one day she confessed to me.
"Lisa I need to tell you something." She said while we are eating our dinner together.
"Hmmkay. Spill." I said not caring what it was because it might just another stupid joke because she's really good at that thing.
"This is something serious." Her tone change to a serious one. That was my cue to take this seriously.
"Oh sorry. Okay, I will listen." I told her.
"I think I am in love with someone." She started.
I was hurt to hear that. I don't know why but I felt jealous about that person. "T-to whom?" I asked her.
"T-to y-ou, Lisa .." she confessed.
I told you, she was really straightforward. But she stuttered to this one.
Her hands were shaking that night. So I held her hand. "Your hands are cold." I told her and she gulps.
"... and I love you too." I murmured.

And that's how we ended up together.
We are driving to the café near my office.
Megan is looking at me while I am driving and she's smiling like a child. "What?" I said smiling.
"Nothing, I just love looking at you." She said.
"Stop that okay," I told her.
"Why?" she's teasing me "I love looking at my beautiful girlfriend." She added.
"I love you," I said to her and she blushed.
"I love you too, so much." She said and gave me a peck.
We are now at the counter and the cashier is taking our orders. After ordering we sat at the chair near the windows.
"I'll just go to the bathroom," Megan said to me and I nodded to her.
While my eyes wandered the place I saw a girl sitting alone with a book on her hand she's on her corporate attire then a minute later a guy sat with her. I could recognize the guy. It was the guy I almost made faceless. It's Kai and oh she's with Jennie.
Jennie puts down her book and looks like she's going outside. I followed her with my eyes. I want to talk to her and apologize to how I acted that night so I followed her. She's getting something inside her car.
"Jennie." I called her and she looks at me.
"Lisa." She said surprisingly.
"Are you following me?" she asked me as if I am stalking her?
"N-no. Why would I do that? That's creepy and only ugly people do that." I said arrogantly.
"I think there is a typhoon coming." She murmured and look at her surroundings.
"Alright, that's enough," I said to her. "Okay first I am not following you, it is just Megan and I decided to have some breakfast here." I started to explain.
"Oh okay. Have a nice breakfast, I guess." She said and started to walk out but I held her wrist.
"I'm not done talking, Jennie. I just want to apologize for the way I acted out to your date. I was just pissed. H-he pissed me off. Saying I hurt you and you deserve a man, not a woman he even said that I don't deserve you at any angle and it hurts me, honestly. But I think he was right. I hurt you and I am really sorry for everything that I did." I explained to her my side and she looks really surprised.
"He said that?" she asked me.
"He did not tell you? Oh great. He created his own story?" I figured it out.
Jennie then goes back inside only to get her book and I was really confused by that. She then stormed off and hopped into her vehicle while Kai was running to catch her but fails.
"What did you tell her?!" he shouted at me.
"The truth." I said confidently.
"You're gonna pay for this, Manoban." He said and get inside his car.
I don't care what the hell he meant by that. I did what I needed to do.
I go back inside the café, Megan is already sitting on our table with our orders.
"Where have you been?" She asked me as soon as I sat down.
"Just checked something in my car." I lied to her.
