LISA'S POV
"And you .. hands to yourself, .. Manoban," Jennie said to me. I was really confused at first but then it hits me. I have a girlfriend. This is not fair to her. s**t.
But Jennie...
I know she felt what I felt too. I know she still has a thing for me. Or am I imagining things and making myself get fooled?
"It is almost midnight guys I think we all should go home now?" Jisoo interrupted my thoughts. The air becomes thicker again.
"Lisa, let's go now?" Rosé asked me.
"Y-yeah," I answered her.
"It is nice having fun with you, guys." Rosé said to both of them and they all exchange hugs and kisses.
I was like a potato standing in the corner, everything seems to process slower than it should be.
"Jennie." I called her.
The three of them look at me.
"Can I have a word with you?" I said to Jennie who looks really thinking about what I am going to say to her. But she manages to give me a poker face after a second. She really knows how to playthings.
"Spill." She said plainly to me.
"Can you give us some privacy?" I looked at the two women inside the room and they exchange glances then started to exit the room.
Jennie was just standing there with me. Waiting for me to talk.
"What is this all about?" I asked her confusedly about what just happened earlier because things are getting out of my hand, I guess?
"What exactly are you talking about, Manoban?" She responded immediately.
"That!" I exclaimed.
"Make it more specific, you seem to ask a general question." She said professionally like we are talking about some deals about business.
"Stop playing games, will you? I know you know what I mean exactly here, Jennie. What's your problem?" I hissed. I was losing my patience. She's trying me this time. I really don't know what is inside her head.
"As you can see, I don't have any problems and it looks like you are the one who got a problem here. If you can't make a better conversation, can I go now? Or you could rephrase your sentences and go straight to the hell point to whatever you were trying to say." She said straight to my face. Her eyes were dull. It doesn't have any emotions.
Jennie crossed her arms and sigh heavily. "Are you going to talk? Because I'm about to leave." She added.
"What was that kiss we shared?" this time I pointed it out.
"A dare." She answered me as soon as I was done talking. I looked at her waiting for her to say something more than that. Until she did "Nothing but a dare." She added.
With that, I was frozen to where I was standing.
"That's what you are going to ask?" Jennie asked me.
I clenched my jaw and sighed heavily.
"I was talking about the kiss before the dare." I looked down while talking. I can't look at her face again and be disappointed with what is she going to tell me.
"Lisa, listen and listen carefully. We were just emotional a while ago. That was nothing, if you think we had a moment back there, we don't. It was just like .. a closure. We both needed that." Jennie told me. My heart skips a beat. It was just for closure?
"Stop overthinking about everything, I don't want to be in between you and your girlfriend. What happened a while ago was a mistake and shouldn't be repeated. Ever." She was telling the truth. That was a mistake I'm a committed person I should be more responsible.
"Y-you are right." That was the only thing I could manage to say. Though it hurts me I can't cry in front of her not again knowing it doesn't mean anything to her.
It looks like she moved on.
JENNIE'S POV
"Y-you are right," Lisa said stuttering. I know deep inside of her she's really confused but I can't ruin her relationship with her new girl just because I still feel something for her. I'm not like that and I don't come back for her. Nothing is about her. Who am I trying to convince anyway?
Nothing is about her.
"I think I should go now and by the way, I had fun," I told her and walk my heels to exit the room.
When I opened the door I heard two girls squealed. Jisoo and Rosé were at the door listening to us. I rolled my eyes to the sight of them and they looked at me scratching the back of their necks.
"Nosy people," I mumbled.
"W-what happened, Unnie?" Rosé asked me.
"Nothing much, we just talked" I answered her.
I look at Jisoo who looks really curious and waiting for me to spill some more. "I'm going back to our hotel now, are you coming with me?" I asked her.
Jisoo hugs her girlfriend and they almost make out in front of me. I rolled my eyes and pinch their ears to make them apart. "Can you guys stop doing that in front of me? I don't want to watch live porn, please." I hissed
"Alright baby, I'll text you later okay? I love you." Jisoo said and throw a flying kiss. What a kid.
Rosé catch the flying kiss her girlfriend just threw at her. Okay, I admit they are a cute couple but please not in front of me.
"Lisa, babye!" Jisoo yelled. I did not know Lisa was just behind me. She just waves her hand to us.
Jisoo was the one who is driving back to our hotel because I told her I'm tired. I left my car in the bar and ride hers
While driving, Jisoo keeps on looking at me. I got irritated so I closed my eyes and asked her why. "What?"
"Hmm. Nothing." She said.
"Then stop looking at me or else I'll tell Rosie that you are developing your interest to me," I said to her while my eyes still close.
She then stops the car and I almost bumped my head. Thank God I am wearing a seatbelt.
"What the f**k!?" I hissed at her.
Jisoo did not even look at me then she started to drive again.
"You are full of yourself!" she yelled at me playfully.
"Are you trying to give me a broken neck??" I questioned her not getting if what she did was necessary.
"You and Lisa." She mumbled. Alright, she's now starting.
I looked at her. "What happened to the both of you?" she asked me. I look outside the window. Saw cars on the road. It is already past midnight but there are still cars on the road.
"I thought we are going back to the way we used to be but it ended up not so well. We heard what you guys been talking about." She explained.
"Lisa and I .. we can't go back. It is like just moving forward." I answered her.
"Why is that? Is it because she has a girlfriend now?"
"No." I stopped there. "I really don't know." I wasn't lying at all.
"You guys can still be friends, right?" Jisoo asked me again.
"Jisoo, I am happy that you and Chae are back together." I was trying to change the topic.
"Stop trying to avoid the topic." She calmly said.
"Unnie, I was really happy when we had a chance to be with them again. I never felt that free again. Everything was light and .. fine. But then, I realized .. we can't go back." I admit what I felt. Jisoo was listening to me.
"The kiss we shared before the two of you came. It was magical. I wasn't expecting that at all. We had a moment back there. It was something but I denied to her that it has something because I'm afraid to get hurt knowing she's committed with someone else now. When we were playing that f*****g spin the bottle thing, I wanted to let her have the taste of my lips once again because I want revenge because she f*****g kiss me knowing she has a girlfriend!" This time I was being emotional.
"It was like a f*****g slap on my face. I f*****g let her break my walls again, that easy." I added.
Tears escaped from eyes again and I'm sobbing like a child, probably because I am in the influence of alcohol. "I don't think we can be still friends. After the event, I will fly back to Australia." I said sternly.
"I understand," Jisoo told me and she tapped my shoulder.
When we got inside our hotel room I checked my phone and an unknown number texted me.
I wasn't able to apologize for what I did. I'm sorry, Jennie. If ever I hurt you I am really sorry. You were right, we are both emotional and things became out of our hands.
But I hope we could still be friends.
Unknown Number
It was Lisa. It doesn't need to have a name. I turned off my phone and put it on the side table. I look up the ceiling thinking everything that happened today.
I can't sleep and it is already 3:30 in the morning. I picked up my phone again and turned it on this time.
Messages start to come and it was really odd. It is already freaking 3 AM and my notifications are freaking out.

It was all from Kai.
What is he doing here?
Kai is also a close friend of Jisoo and I. Our family is close to his but we don't see each other a lot because this guy loves to travel all the time.
But he also visited me and Jisoo to Australia before and just handed a gift for my birthday and disappeared after a few hours.
He is really unpredictable and then the last time I saw him was when the three of us go out and have a coffee just to catch up then again, he disappeared just like that. I never asked where the hell he is because he loves to roam around the map but this guy is really a good one.
"Is he also coming to the event?" I wondered.
I did not call him, instead and I tried to sleep again.
