Chapter XVIII

LISA'S POV

I was sleeping peacefully with the girl I love, I woke up beside her if you are all wondering how we made it to the guest room well, of course, we are not that dumb to sleep at the garage we still managed to make it here.

I hug Jennie closer to me sniffing the same perfume she wore yesterday, I was already asleep when I felt a splash of water in my face for a second I thought I was just dreaming so l just let it but the more I let it the more I feel the water dripping into my face. When I slightly opened my eyes I saw figured of two women in front of me holding a spray bottle that is full of water. It was Jisoo and Rosé I was irritated because of the game they are trying to play. It was kinda childish for me though.

"What the f**k? Seriously?" I hissed at them.

Rosé puts her hands to her waist then tilt her head. "Seriously? At the garage, Manoban?" she said furiously.

I sit carefully not wanting to wake up Jennie who is sleeping like a baby beside me. "Okay .. let me explain." I said demanding to be heard.

"Oh my God Lisa, I'm so happy for you!" Rosé cheerfully said to me, I was confused for a second well I'm always damn confused about everything, what's new?

But in contrast, Jisoo to the other side crossed her arms and looking at me demanding an explanation.

"If you cannot take full good responsibility about this Manoban, I'm gonna kick your ass out away and put you to the boiling magma and let you become toasted as f**k and turn you to ash and --." She said threatening me nonstop; thank God Rosé is there so she tapped her girlfriend to stop.

"N-no." I said stuttering.

"Are you guys back together? Because those moans were so damn loud my family almost heard you," Rosé said questioning me.

"Sorry about that but what did you tell them?" I asked her while scratching the back of my neck because of embarrassment.

"I told them it was just cats sneaking around our house." Rosé explained and I laughed at her excuse.

"Really? Cats? Sure they bought it." I said giggling.

"Yeah, horny cats." She added and I gulped at her words.

"So, what's the deal?" Jisoo asked me seriously this time. "Are you going to destroy her walls again because you see how weak she is when it comes to you? The last time I check you are an engaged woman to you—" Rosé cuts her off again. I know why Jisoo acting like this, Jennie is her best friend more like a sister that's why she's so protective to her.

"Baby, let her explain." Rosé told her and calming her. "Better explain now or I'll sauté you too." Now they are both threatening me.

While I am in the hot seat Jennie seems to be a baby that is undisturbed sleeping peacefully in her own world.

"I get where you are coming from, Jisoo but I am just following my heart." I stated.

"Following my heart my ass, stop sugar-coating hit it right to the point or I'll hit you with this ddu ddu ddu ddu." She furrows her brows and showed me her little fist.

"Okay, okay. Rosé told me to know what I really want, Jennie told me the same thing ... and this is really what I want. I want to be with Jennie. I'm calling off the engagement with Megan." I said and they weren't even shocked.

"What? Are you guys will just show me those poker faces of yours?" I asked them confusedly.

"Nothing, you're just predictable. I know you're gonna choose Jennie over Megan. But the real question is, will Megan let you? We both know she's persistent and she gets what she wants. I kinda like Megan for you cause she takes care of you but isn't this unfair to her part? How are you gonna start to explain this to her?" Rosé interrogated me and asked me questions that I don't know the answers yet.

"I-I will try to talk to her today." I said.

"Just try?" Jisoo asked me still in her poker face.

"I will talk to her today." I said rephrasing my sentence. God this little woman is scaring me.

"You better be and if you cannot take your own action, I'm serious about kicking your ass out, Lalisa." She threatened me again now with a firm voice.

"I know what I did before was really immature and I don't listen to you guys, I admit I've been an ass but I changed now and I think this is the best way to start this year." I said to her assuring her that I am taking full responsibility for what happened to Jennie and I.

Jennie started to move and she's about to wake up, the two girls gestured to me and whisper to me that we should just keep it to the three of us what we just talked about. They immediately get out of the room before Jennie finally wakes up.

She opened her eyes, damn that pretty face of hers. "Good morning, princess." I greeted her and she showed me her gummy smile. I missed these kinds of moments, me waking up first and then her waking up next showing me her beautiful smile.

I kissed her forehead then smiled at her watching how beautiful she is. "You're so beautiful." I complimented her.

"You're just saying that." She said trying to hide her face. My baby is shy.

"No, you really are beautiful. Don't hide that gorgeous face." I said touching her face.

Jennie looks straight into my eyes. "I miss waking up next to you, Lisa." She said as she grabs my hand and kisses it.

"We'll do this often," I said to her and gave her a peck.

"I love you." Those words slipped into her lips accidentally. There's no influence of alcohol we are sober. This is f*****g magical like we are in a book. (Duh yes you guys are)

"What did you just said?" I asked her once again because I feel like I'm dreaming. "Say it again."

"Not gonna repeat it." She said as she sits to the bed.

I smiled at her silliness.

"Well you don't have to but .. I love you too." I said to her. I lean to give her another kiss. Jennie bites my lower lip as she deepens our kiss.

She then stops. "Lisa." She said.

Her eyes are worried this time and she looks down. "I feel bad sleeping with you knowing you are already getting married.." she murmured.

I was trying to make her look at me but she keeps her head down. "Baby, I told you I don't want to marry her anymore. What I told you a while ago, it's all true. I choose you, I will always choose you. I feel bad too for not telling her but not for sleeping with you. I love you and I don't think what I am feeling is wrong. You know why? Because everything seems right when I'm with you." I told her sincerely.

I showed her my hand. "I take it off last night." I said.

"I'm going to talk to Megan today. I'll tell her that I can't marry her." I assured her. Jennie crooks into my neck and she hugs me.

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Lisa is driving back to her house and she finally arrived. She parked her car and saw Megan's car.

"She's here?" Lisa talks to herself.

When she steps inside her house she saw Megan and the girl welcomed her with a hug. "Happy New Year, baby." She said as she kisses Lisa on the cheek.

"You are here." Lisa mumbled uneasily.

"Yes, baby. Why you don't look happy? Aren't you happy to see your future wife?" Megan asked her.

"No, no." Lisa denied. "I'm happy that you are here. And about that, I have something to tell you." Lisa started. She thinks it is the right timing to tell Megan everything.

"Really? That's good. Is this about our plans for our marriage?" Megan asked her excitedly but Lisa was about to tell her no.

But suddenly Megan added something. "Good timing because my family is with me. Mom and dad want us to pick an early date for our marriage. " Megan said immediately. Lisa was surprised when she saw Megan's parents in her house.

"Hello Lisa, I supposed you are very excited about your wedding because we are too. We can't wait." Megan's mother intrudes on their conversation. Lisa was caught off guard in the situation she doesn't know how she will tell Megan that she's calling off the engagement when her parents are there.

"We brought a famous designer with us. I want my daughter's wedding to be elegant and beautiful as she is." The man beside Megan's mother talks which is Megan's father.

Lisa gulps heavily and just hoping to be eaten by the carpet where she's standing right now.

Now she's not just a f*****g confused potato, .. she's in trouble again. How is she going to tell them that she's backing out?

Lisa is too attractive that she attracts trouble and problems too.

At the cemetery, there are men standing in front of a tombstone.

"We are good friends, you could be breathing right now .. but what the f**k you did? You chose the wrong side that brought you to your grave, ..

.. Bambam." The man in the black coat with shades said talking to the tombstone in front of him.

"Someone might see you here. I think we should go now, bro." The man beside him said.

They both walk to the Bentley Car that was parked on the road and drove away.
