The Language of Love

As soon as Emma saw him, her heart skipped a beat. He was tall, with dark hair and piercing blue eyes that seemed to look straight into her soul. She tried to dismiss the feeling, but her mind kept returning to him throughout the day.

At lunch, she found herself sitting near him and struck up a conversation. His name was David and he had moved to the city for work. They chatted easily and Emma found herself laughing at his jokes.

One evening, they were walking through the park when David stopped and took Emma's hand. "There's something I have to tell you," he said, looking into her eyes. "I love you, Emma. I think I've loved you since the moment I met you."

Emma felt her heart swell with joy. "I love you too," she said, pulling him into a hug.
