Chapter 16. Friend?

*Rea's POV * 

It's so warm. What is going on...I thought... 

 Opened my eyes and saw a bare chest. 

Someone's arm is resting on me.. Lifted my head. 

It's Will.. and I'm hugging him. 

 My eyes went wide, what the hell happened and how, then... memories came back. 

Last night. Kiki and Nia are my spirit wolves, William is my mate, I'm some kind of a hybrid. This morning, he came for tea, and now we are in my bed.. oh heck, what's the time. Lucy! 

She can't see us... Tried to move from him, but he just pulled me closer... Damn you! 

 ' Hey, can I move please?' I asked looking into his closed eyes, and they opened. He looks so sleepy.

 ' Princess, go to sleep, why you wanna run from me?' He asked. 

 ' I.. I just wanna check the time.' I told.

 He huffed, took his hand off me and reached for something behind him, it was his phone, he moved it to my face and lit up the screen showing the time... Oh hell. It's six already, she came back home two hours ago. What the f*ck now... He put it back and his arm back on my side.

 ' Happy? Now let's sleep, I haven't had such a good sleep in a long time..' He said. 

 ' William.' I told quietly. He opened his eyes and looked at me. 

 ' You know it wouldn't be so hot if you would lose those leggings and blouse.' He said. I smacked his chest and laughed a bit. 

 ' Stop it, although we are mates, it's not going to happen so fast. ' Now he laughed. 

 ' Babe, I just want us both to feel comfortable.. ' He said smiling at me.

 ' Although I love the way you think. ' He added. 

 'So, why do you want to run from me? ' He asked after a few more moments.

 ' Lucy, she should be home already, and I don't know how to explain this to her..' I said showing my finger to him, me, and my bed. He laughed. 

 'She was already here, two hours ago, you were still asleep and she barged in the room.' My eyes went wide. Oh, f*ck. 

 'Whaat! Why didn't you wake me up?' I asked.

 ' Because you were sleeping... Why should I?' He noticed my cheeks go red, touched one.

 'Rea... No need to panic or be ashamed, I already spoke to her, she won't say a thing to you..' he said.

 ' Yeah, until you leave..' I told him.

 ' So I won't, I see no problem in that..' he said winking at me. 

 ' Remus!' Kiki roared in my head. 

 ' Okay, so.. What is Remus, can you explain it now? Because last time you didn't. ' I told him. 

' Remus is my wolf. '

' Oh my god... This is real... ' I told grabbing my head.

'Good that you didn't say that last time I would have went nuts for sure...' I added laughing nervously.

 ' I know baby, calm down, it's alright , I'll show and tell you everything you need to know. ' He said caressing my cheek.

 ' Okay, okay, wait a moment.' I sat on the bed, but his hand still didn't release my side.

 He looked at me questionably. 

 ' So.. You are a werewolf?' He nodded. 

 ' And I'm some kind of a hybrid? ' He nodded again.

 ' And who the hell is Lucy then?' His eyes went wide.

 ' What do you mean? As much as I know she is a human.' He told. 

 ' Nope, my d.. Spirit wolves told me that she knows about me and she isn't a human. ' I told.

 ' What? ' He sat next to me.

 ' Yeah, I think it's time to speak with Lucy...' 

 *Lucy's POV * 

 Oh, of course, he is here... I thought when I saw Williams's car parked in our driveway... I wonder why Rea is not at work. 

Opened the door, oh great, so she wasn't even out, her work clothes are still hanging the same way they were when I left, and her college bag is not dropped by the entrance as it usually is when she comes back... 

 Wait... They aren't in the living room... Are they?.. 

 Oh FFS, this girl gonna kill me. I barged into her room. 

 'Hey what..' I couldn't finish when Will motioned to keep quiet because she's sleeping...

 The same Will that is almost naked next to her... What the hell is going on? How could it happen so fast?

I closed the door and went back to the kitchen to make myself something to eat.

 'Hey.' Turned around, oh, of course, it's William, that damn dog...

 'Hi William, I know, I know, you are officially together from now on.. I see that, it's just that I care for Rea too much, and I don't want her to get hurt..' I told looking at him, thank god he at least put on pants.

 'Lucy, I won't hurt her, trust me, she became the most important person in my life the moment I met her.' He said.

 ' I don't know why, but I believe you.'

 'Thanks.' He said smiling and went back to Rea. 

 Well... I know why, because they are damn mates, but why should I say. 

I still have some time to keep myself a secret, and I'm planning to use it... 

 * Williams POV*

 This woman of mine... Now we are lying together in her bed. But I think she still doesn't quite understand what's going on.

 I mean, can you blame her... Imagine if you would find out so much information at once what would happen... Complete breakdown...

She sleeps so peacefully. I still can't believe that this beautiful, though mysterious creature is mine.

'Mark!' Remus roared in my head...

' You dumb dog, she still haven't even realised that this is real and you wanna mark her straight away? You stupid or something?.' I asked him.

' F*ck it , I want my mates, now , completely !'   

Yep, he's stupid. 

' Here , a bit of silent treatment for you to chill out..' Told, shoving him in the back of my mind so I wouldn't need to try taming that wild dog of mine. He is so restless these days.

Oh, my girl ..., I can't stop observing her, such perfection, and those curves, I don't even need to see to be turned on.

And now, I'm here, touching her, it's almost too much to control myself. If only I could...

I just hope that once she completely realizes that this is real, she won't try to run..Even if she will, I won't let that happen. This princess is mine. Forever.

Oh.. she's waking up, and I still don't want to let this moment go. So I'll just pretend I'm sleeping.

She tried going away, but I didn't let go of her, brought her closer to me.. Then she asked for time. I wonder why?

Oh. It's because she's afraid of what her best friend will think of her... Dammit, such a sweetheart.

She asked me again if I'm a werewolf and she a hybrid... After I confirmed, she said something that I wasn't expecting, that her friend. Lucy is not a human, but how is this possible? I felt nothing being close to her.

Maybe Jer was correct after all, and a witch has something to do with it. Perhaps even a lot.

' Yeah, I think it's time to speak with Lucy... ' She said. I nodded.

Indeed I'm very interested to know who the hell is she.

 I stood up to pick my clothes, she covered her eyes.

'What ?' I asked.

' Nothing .' She said, noticed her cheeks slightly blush, chuckled.

' Girl , we were just in bed , I bet you saw everything already .' I told, but she remained covering her eyes. I love her innocence.

' Okay, we can go.' I told. She rose from her bed, and we went to the living room to sit on a couch.

'Lucy? ' She called her.

' Yeah?' She answered.

' Can you come , I need to speak to you.' Rea said.

' Okay , be in a minute.'

She turned to me.

' Will , if you don't mind , I thought about it and I would like to speak with her about this privately.. She is my best friend..'

'Okay... You want something to eat? I could go grab takeaway for us, it should be about an hour ..' I told her, although I really wish to stay and find it out as well. She is more important to me.

She nodded.

' Thank you , I'll tell you later .' She said.

' Okay .' I went to take my jacket and left.

* Rea's POV*

She came to the living and sat on an armchair.

' So, what you wanna speak about, and where is Will?'

She asked.

' Oh, Will went to take us something to eat..'

' So you two are official ?' She asked.

' Yeah ,kind of.' I told.

' So, tell me the details , why were you two in your room.. did you?' She asked... Hahaha... I'm not telling a s**t until she starts speaking.

I would be ashamed now, but I'm not. Suddenly I got this strength that I hadn't before.

' It's because we are finally with you girl , we support you.' Nia said. Kiki agreed.

' Thanks .' I told them.

' Nope, that's not the point, I won't hide it from you , I know who I'm , and two birdies in my head told me something very interesting about you.. So spill the beans.' I told looking at her widening eyes from the realization that she must tell me what's going on...

' What are you talking about ?' She asked.

B*tch, I'm not playing this game anymore. You lied to me for too long.

' You know what I'm talking about , who the f*ck are you ?'

' Rea ,can we speak about it later?' She asked.

' No, you tell me now or you gonna lose a friend.' I told, she sighed.

' I'm a demon..' She said.

Are you f*cking kidding me? Demons? What's next, angels, god?

I motioned for her to continue.

' I was sent by a witch to guard you .'

' All this time ? Are we even friends or all this s**t here is fake?'I asked her not believing.

' At first we weren't ,after two years or so our real friendship began..' She said.

' Tell me everything from the beginning .'I said.

' Okay..' She was quiet for few moments then began.

' It all started seven years ago, a witch summoned me and offered a deal in exchange to guard you at all times because you are special..' She said.

' What was the thing you got in return ?' I asked her.

 ' This body .' She said.

' What do you mean?' I asked not understanding.

' Rea ,there is so much you have to learn... First of all , demons don't have bodies on earth, in order to come here we must get someone to summon us and give their body to enter, or any body. In hell I have my body but here no.. And I always wanted to live on earth at least once..'

' Okay...' I told encouraging her to continue.

' So the witch offered me one life as a human, with all emotions and everything, as well my powers , if I protect you..'

' And where did you got this body from? Is there someone else inside of you ,the real Lucy if that was her real name?'

' That's my real name and hers was too, witch spoiled me a bit.. And no , there's no one else than me inside. In order for me to be the owner of this body , the persons soul must leave, or else it would be possession, which demons can't do for long... '

' Before you ask, no, demons don't have soul, but they are able to change the one of deceased or occupy the living one..'

' And how did Lucy's soul left her ? .' I asked.

' She was very ill, when the witch told me to go to her ,there were no soul anymore.'

' And how do I believe that you are a demon?' I asked. 

She looked me in the eyes, blinked, for a moment her eyes became completely black, then went back to normal.

' Oh f*ck.' That was all I said hiding my mouth with my hand.

' I know , Rea , calm down , no need to panic, I'm the same friend you had before , just with a bit of extra..' She said.

' I .. I .. You know what , I need to think everything through... I think I'll go back for a week or so..' I told her dumbfounded.

' Rea..' She couldn't finish.

' No, don't say a word, I'm done with you for now..' I told her, went to quickly change clothes, called a taxi, took my bag, and went out of the apartment.

' Where to?' The driver asked once I sat in.

'Airport.' He nodded...
