ASYA’S POV “I hope they’ll let me play again,” I say as I walk next to Pasha toward the car. My anxiety spikes every time I think about returning to the mall and being among all those people, the noise, and all those overwhelming smells. The memories alone make me shudder. But I also remember the feeling of complete freedom that engulfed me when I placed my fingers on the keys after so long without music.
