Helena’s POV:
“If things were not the same and if there existed a universe where we’d meet again, would you give me a second chance?” asked the man whom I loved with all my heart.
I looked at his face that was crying so bitterly as he held on to my hand. I wiped his tear with my thumb as I watched him holding on to me. Our souls seemed to have departed from the world and it was the distance between the heavens and the world where we met for one last time.
“I wonder… if there would ever be a world where we’d exist together” I said as I smiled at him.
Somehow, all the complaints and all the pain seemed to have vanished and all I felt was bliss but his face held only sorrow and agony. We were out of this worldly emotions yet, he was trapped in it with only pain and sorrow in his heart.
