I opened my eyes to see Prince in my face, purring and rubbing her head against mine. Her whiskers and fur bring a smile to my face as it tickled me and I couldn’t help letting out a small laugh as she licked my face. I reached up and scratched behind her ear, causing her to purr louder and take a bite out of my hand. I looked at the clock across my room. 7:15. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath as Prince rubbed her head against my hand.
I’m going to stay home. I need to stay home. I don’t need to go to school, I was hit by a car. Of course, people are going to assume I stay home. Who wouldn’t? I am staying home.
