A.N. Ellard is a Floridian who studied Japanese language and East Asian folklore and is now obtaining a master’s degree in prose writing. If she isn’t diving into a queer Chinese w******l or a exploring a new dystopia, she’s writing about the presence of the unconventional, whether in relationships or societies. If it doesn’t involve words, it involves paint—she’s worked with canvases, digitally, and even on a collection of ball-jointed dolls.
