Leona's POV The rain hadn't stopped since I left that house. It was the definition of an endless outpouring; I was slowly freezing out here wanting to wash away what was left. My hair was still damp, my shoes soaked through, and I just sat there on the curb outside the gates with my bag clutched to me like a shield.
