Finally, I'd be taking her with me and that was pleasing. I felt satisfied, as though I had achieved the biggest goal of my life.
I must say, I only wanted her for the sake of my child, but then, anytime I see her with Larry, I feel so heavy at heart, like I'd burn the world.
Now I realize, she's all I need, not just my child, but I want my child back. I had gotten everything ready to depart with her and boarded plane tickets for us.
I let out a sided smile as the excitement in me couldn't be hidden, but it faded too soon.
Here I was, staring at her as she let Larry embrace her warmly. She didn't fight him off... wasn't she scared of him?
