Chapter Twenty-Nine Margaret laughed. It was silly what she was feeling—so hopeful, yet embarrassed. Whenever she thought of the night of the Venetian ball, she felt so happy. That was it. Happy. No, maybe delighted was a better word. Or ecstatic. Yes, she liked ecstatic because it was definitely more than simple happiness. She shook her head and laughed again.
