Chapter 4 The Masked Robber and his gang gallop wildly through the sleeping town. Here and there, lights can still be seen, as many of the people who attended the reception at the Castle have not yet gone to sleep. Occasionally, they also encounter a coach that has to speed up to avoid the indifferent riders. At the front, the Masked Robber races and closely follows Jacques, his loyal friend and lieutenant.
