Alaric had dropped me off at my dorm earlier that evening. He had been surprisingly gentle after our talk, making sure I was tucked in before he left. I managed to sleep for a few hours, but I woke up at midnight feeling like my skin was too tight for my body. My head was spinning with thoughts of the three of them. ​I needed to clear my head. I walked into the small communal bathroom down the hall, thankful it was empty at this hour.
