Tao: "I skipped class for you, and now you're kicking me out? Wow, so heartless."

Neuw (frowning): that's why I told. you skipped so many classes. So go..."

Tao shrugged. " How could I leave my baby alone in his fever?"

Neuw's face softened for a second, but he quickly shook his head.

Neuw: "That's sweet, but you need to go! If you miss too many classes, you'll get in trouble!"

Tao sighed dramatically. "Fine, fine. I'll go. But only because my boyfriend is forcing me."

Neuw rolled his eyes. "Yes, yes. Now hurry up before someone sees you."

Tao took a step toward the door but suddenly turned back.

Tao: "Wait. I forgot something."

Neuw raised an eyebrow. "What?"

Before he could react, Tao leaned in and kissed him—quick and soft. Neuw's eyes widened, his face turning red.

Tao pulled away, smiling. "That."

Neuw was frozen for a second before he quickly pushed Tao toward the door.

Neuw (whisper-yelling): "Are you crazy?! What if someone sees?!"

Tao grinned. "Then they'll see that I have the cutest boyfriend in the world."

Neuw groaned. "Not funny! Now go!"

Tao finally stepped out into the hallway. Neuw quickly closed the door and sighed in relief. But just as he leaned against it—

Knock. Knock.

Neuw's eyes widened in horror.

Neuw (whispering to himself): "Oh no... not the warden..."

He took a deep breath and slowly opened the door—only to see Tao standing there again, grinning like an i***t.

Neuw (gasping): "YOU AGAIN?!"

Tao (innocently): "I forgot something else."

Neuw (suspicious): "What now?"

Tao stepped inside, grabbed Neuw's face, and kissed him again—this time a little longer. Neuw's brain completely stopped working.

When Tao pulled away, he smirked. "Okay, now I can go."

Neuw, still breathless, grabbed Tao's wrist before he could turn around.

Neuw (muttering): "Idiot..."

He pulled Tao back and kissed him—just a quick one—but enough to make Tao blink in surprise.

Neuw's face was burning as he pushed Tao toward the door one last time.

Neuw (whispering): "Now really go!"

Tao laughed, finally leaving. As he walked down the hallway, he turned back and winked.

Tao: "See you later, baby."

Neuw leaned against the door, covering his face with his hands, his heart racing.

Neuw (muttering): "This guy is going to be the death of me..."

Neuw lay on his bed, still feeling the effect of Tao's kiss on his lips. His face burned as he buried it into his pillow.

Neuw (muttering): "That idiot... always doing whatever he wants."

Just as he was about to roll over and hide from the world—

Knock. Knock.

Neuw froze.

His heart raced.

Neuw (thinking): "Oh no. He's back, isn't he?"

He groaned, dragging him

self off the bed. He was so ready to scold Tao for being reckless again.

Neuw yanked the door open, whisper-yelling, "YAH! I TOLD YOU TO—"

But instead of Tao... it was Dee.

Dee stood there, eyebrow raised, holding a small bag.

DEE: "Told who?"

Neuw's whole body stiffened. "Uh—n-no one!"

Dee narrowed his eyes. "Suspicious. Very suspicious."

Before Neuw could say anything, Dee stepped in and handed him the medicine.

DEE: "Anyway, I brought this for you. You still have a fever, right?"

Neuw awkwardly took it. "Oh... thanks."

Dee walked inside , eyes scanning the room like a detective on a mission.

Then he stopped.

His eyes landed on another packet of medicine on the table.

A slow smirk spread across his face.

Dee (grinning): "Huh. That's interesting."

Neuw gulped. "W-What is?"

Dee casually picked up the other medicine. "Where did this come from?"

Neuw's brain short-circuited.

Neuw (nervously): "Uhh... I—I bought it?"

Dee let out a dramatic gasp. "NEUW... buying medicine??"

He pointed an accusing finger. "LIAR! YOU HATE BUYING MEDICINE!"

Neuw groaned. "I—ugh, fine! Someone gave it to me."

Dee crossed his arms. "Who?"

Neuw swallowed hard. "A... friend."

Dee's smirk grew. "A friend, huh?"

He leaned in suspiciously. "A friend... or someone else?"

Neuw turned red. "What does that even mean?!"

Dee gasped dramatically again. "WAIT. DON'T TELL ME—"

Neuw panicked. "NO! STOP THINKING!"

Dee tilted his head. "Hmm... why would you get sick so suddenly?"

He tapped his chin. "It's almost like something... happened to you."

Neuw held his breath.

DEE: "Something... shocking?"

Neuw gulped. "N-No."

DEE: "Something... unexpected?"

Neuw: "NO."

DEE: "Something... that involved a certain Tao?"

Neuw nearly choked. "WHAT?! NO!!! WHO SAID THAT?!"

Dee smirked. "I knew it!"

Neuw groaned. "You literally didn't know anything!"

Dee flopped onto his bed, grinning. "Come on, spill. What did he do?"

Neuw turned away. "Nothing."

Dee gasped. "OH. MY. GOD."

Neuw sighed. "What now?!"

Dee pointed at him dramatically. "DID HE... HUG YOU?!"

Neuw blinked. "Huh?"

DEE: "Wait, no—did he hold your hand?!"

Neuw's face burned. "W-What kind of question—"

Dee gasped even louder. "OH MY GOD, DON'T TELL ME HE—"

Neuw panicked. "NO! HE DIDN'T!"

Dee squinted. "Wait. That means he did something."

Neuw froze.

Dee smirked. "You didn't deny it."

Neuw groaned, grabbing his blanket and throwing it over his head. "GO AWAY."

Dee leaned in closer. "Neuwie... tell me the truth. What did Tao do?"

Neuw (muffled under the blanket): "NOTHING."

Dee poked his side. "Neuwie~"

Neuw squirmed. "STOP IT."

Dee gasped dramatically again. "WAIT. DID HE... DID HE KISS YOU?!"

Neuw flinched so hard, he nearly fell off the bed.

Dee's jaw dropped. "OH. MY. GOD."

Neuw threw a pillow at him. "SHUT UP!!!"

Dee dodged it, laughing. "I'M RIGHT, AREN'T I?!"

Neuw buried his face in the blanket. "I hate you."

Dee wiggled his eyebrows. "Soooo... boyfriends?"

Neuw peeked out from under the blanket, pouting.

Neuw (softly): "No..."

Dee's eyes widened. "WAIT. WHAT?!"

Neuw :. "I never said that."

Dee groaned. "UGH, YOU'RE SO ANNOYING!"

Neuw giggled. "You started it."

Dee huffed. "Fine. But I will find out the truth one day."

Neuw rolled his eyes. "Sure. Good luck with that."

Dee narrowed his eyes. "Mark my words, Neuw. I will uncover the truth."

Neuw smirked. "You can try."

Dee crossed his arms. "Oh, I will."

The next day

(Neuw slowly wakes up, stretching. As he opens his eyes, he finds Dee sitting on his bed, staring at him with narrowed eyes.)

Neuw: "What the—? Why are you staring at me like that?"

Dee: "I had a dream."

Neuw: (groggy) "Uh... okay? Good for you?"

Dee: (leaning closer, whispering) "In my dream, Tao was in this room yesterday."

(Neuw freezes.)

Neuw: "W-Wow, dreams can be so... uh... random, huh?" (nervous laugh)

Dee: (squinting) "Yeah. But, funnily enough, my dreams are never wrong."

Neuw: (sweating bullets) "Well, there's a first time for everything!"

(Dee suddenly grabs something from the desk—an empty medicine packet.)

Dee: "Then explain this."

Neuw: (panicked) "Uhh... I was sick?"

Dee: "Right. But there are two empty medicine packets."

Neuw: (gulping) "Maybe I was very sick?"

Dee: (crossing his arms) "Or maybe... someone took care of you?"

Neuw: (voice cracking) "HAHA. YOU'RE SO FUNNY. HAHAHA. STOP BEING FUNNY."

Dee: (nodding to himself) "So, it was Tao."

Neuw: (jumps up) "WHAT?! WHO SAID THAT? I DIDN'T SAY THAT! DID YOU SAY THAT?!"

Dee: "Your guilty face said it all."

Neuw: "MY FACE DOESN'T TALK!"

Dee: (grinning smugly) "Uh-huh. I'll let it slide. For now."

(Neuw grabs his bag and RUNS out of the room.)

(Neuw sighs in relief as he near the classroom, but just before he step inside, Tao grabs his wrist and pulls him back.)

Neuw: "TAO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" (panicking)

Tao: (smirking, leaning in) "I just want to hold you for a little longer."

Neuw: (glancing around) "NOT HERE! WE'RE LITERALLY OUTSIDE CLASS!"

Tao: (pouting) "So?"

Neuw: "So?! What if someone sees?!"

Tao: (grinning) "Then they'll see how much I like you."

(Neuw's face turns completely red, and he quickly looks around. Thankfully, the hallway seems empty—)

—or so he thinks.

(Tao suddenly pushes him against the wall, trapping him between his arms.)

Neuw: (whisper-yelling) "TAO, STOP IT! WHAT IF SOMEONE COMES?!"

Tao: (ignoring him, leaning closer) "You're so cute when you're flustered."

Neuw: (turning even redder) "I'M NOT FLUSTERED!"

Tao: (tilting his head, pretending to think) "Hmm, really?"

(Before Neuw can answer, Tao leans in and presses a soft kiss on his cheek.)

Neuw: (freezing like a statue) "..."

Tao: (grinning, teasingly) "Still not flustered?"

Neuw: (covering his face with his hands) "I HATE YOU SO MUCH RIGHT NOW."

Tao: (laughing, gently pulling Neuw's hands away) "Nah, you love me."

Neuw: (grumbling, trying to push him away) "LET ME GO—"

(But Tao doesn't move. Instead, he cups Neuw's face, making him look up.)

Tao: (softly, with a smirk) "One more."

Neuw: (blinking rapidly) "W-What?"

Tao: (grinning) "One more kiss."

Neuw: (about to protest when—)

"OH MY GOD."

(A loud gasp echoes from behind them.)

(Neuw and Tao freeze.)

They slowly turn their heads—

—to see their ENTIRE CLASS watching them through the open classroom door.

Neuw: (eyes widening in horror) "...Oh. My. God."

Classmate 1: "DID YOU SEE THAT?! THEY WERE KISSING!"

Classmate 2: "HOLY SHT, THEY'RE DATING?!"*

Classmate 3: "I KNEW IT! I CALLED IT LAST SEMESTER!"

Classmate 4: "YOU OWE ME 50 BUCKS, SEUNGMIN!"

Neuw: (completely frozen, looking like he's about to pass out)

Tao: (blinking at the class, then grinning like an i***t) "Well. Guess we're boyfriends."

(The entire class is screaming, half in shock and half in excitement. Neuw, completely mortified, buries his burning red face into Tao's chest. He refuses to look up, hoping the ground will just swallow him whole.)

Neuw: (muffled against Tao's chest) "I. AM. GOING. TO. DIE."

Tao: (laughing, wrapping his arms around Neuw protectively) "Nope, not today, baby."

Dee: (crossing his arms, smirking) "AHA! I KNEW IT. NEUW, YOU CAN'T HIDE ANYMORE!"

(Neuw whines dramatically, still hiding in Tao's chest, refusing to lift his head.)

Dee: (laughing) "Neuwie, I LITERALLY suspected this from day one. You should've just admitted it earlier!"

Neuw: (muttering into Tao's hoodie) "Shut up, Dee."

Dee: (grinning) "Nope. Not happening. This is my moment."

Classmate 1: "Neuw! Just admit it already!"

Classmate 2: "Yeah! We ALL saw! You even hid in Tao's chest!"

(Tao smirks, tightening his hug around Neuw.)

Tao: "Yeah, Neuw. Are you gonna admit it?"

Neuw: (groaning, slowly peeking out from Tao's chest) "Ugh... fine."

(The class leans in, waiting. Tao raises an eyebrow, amused.)

Neuw: (muttering, looking down shyly) "I... I like Tao, okay?"

Dee: "LOUDER, NEUW!"

Neuw: (glaring at Dee but then sighs, looking up at Tao with a shy pout) "I like you, you idiot."

(Tao grins so wide it looks like his face might split in half.)

Tao: (teasing, tilting his head) "Like me? Or... love me?"

Neuw: (blushing furiously, glaring) "DO YOU WANT ME TO TAKE IT BACK?!"

Tao: (laughing, shaking his head) "No, no, no! I want my official confirmation kiss."

Neuw: (groaning, covering his face) "Ugh, you're so annoying."

(Tao leans in expectantly. The whole class is watching like it's a live drama. Neuw, still shy, grabs Tao's collar and quickly pecks him on the lips.)

(The room goes SILENT.)

Classmate 1: "OH MY GOD, THEY REALLY DID IT!"

Classmate 2: "NEUW JUST KISSED HIM!!"

Classmate 3: "TAO LOOKS LIKE HE'S ABOUT TO PASS OUT."

(Tao, now the flustered one, touches his lips and stares at Neuw in shock.)

Tao: (blinking, completely dazed) "W-Whoa."

Neuw: (grinning shyly, tugging Tao's hoodie) "Happy now, bunny?"

(Tao grins like an i***t and pulls Neuw into a tight hug, lifting him off the ground as the class cheers louder than ever.)
