Chapter 11

Aviraj’s POV

 It has been days since I first met Sanjh and she has easy crawled her way up to my heart . I am immensely and truly in love with her but I don’t know how to confess. The way she smiles, the way her eyes twinkle when she likes something and the way she scrunches her nose when she doesn’t agree with something, her every small act attracts me towards her more and more . I don’t have any idea if she feels the same for me or not but I know one thing that she is the only one for me . I can’t imagine my life without her. She brightens my world and I have decided I will confess to her as soon as possible. I hope she feels the same for me or else I don’t know what I will do . I have never been this nervous in my entire life . 

Tomorrow is her birthday and I am thinking to propose her tomorrow . I want to make it special for her but don’t know how . But one thing is for sure that tomorrow is the day I will confess to her and then the decision will be hers.

                   Sanjh’s POV

I am very excited tomorrow is my birthday. I will be 19 . And most importantly I will get to celebrate my birthday with Avi. God I love him so much . In these days we have become really close . He is very caring and protective of me . He always puts a smile on my face no matter in what mood I am in . I don’t know when I became so attached to him but I know one thing that I love him and I know he only sees me as his friend and I am not going to ruin this for us . I am happy being his friend but would I be able to see him with some other girl ? The answer is no it would hurt like hell to see him with someone else but what can I do . I can’t just confess my feelings to him . What would he think of me . Even if I confess to him , what if he rejects and then break our friendship. No his friendship is very important to me . I will never confess my feelings to him and will always be beside him as his friend and will support him .

Soon the clock striked 12 and my mom , dad and bhai came in my room to wish me with my favourite chocolate cake.

It’s a kind of tradition, that on my every birthday mom, dad and bhai comes in my room at exact 12 and wishes me and make me cut my favourite chocolate cake . After that I was about to sleep but my phone started ringing.

I saw the caller name and automatically smile appeared on my face . As Avi was calling me.

I lifted the call.

( call conversation)

Sanjh: hello Avi

Aviraj: Sanjh happy birthday 

Sanjh: Thank you Avi

Aviraj: Sanjh you are not sleepy right?

Sanjh: why?

Aviraj: I want to take you somewhere 

Sanjh: now at this time.

Aviraj: you trust me right.

Sanjh: of course I trust Avi and you know that.

Aviraj: then don’t ask anything and come with me.I am waiting outside your house.

Sanjh: just wait for a minute I am coming.

( I slowly and quite the went out of the house without waking anyone in the process. As I stepped out of the house I saw Avi’s car and quietly went and sat in his car)

Aviraj: Sanjh you came ( he said and hugged me)

Sanjh: you thought I wouldn’t come

Aviraj: it’s not like that I was just nervous.

Sanjh: nervous, what for.

Aviraj: you would know. ( he said and started the engine)

Sanjh: Avi where are we going?

Aviraj: you will come to know soon

Soon we reached the place as I got out of the car I was mesmerised by the beauty of the place . It would be an understatement to call this place beautiful, it was like heaven . I mean rocks , waterfall and so many fireflies. This place was magic. 

Sanjh: Avi this place is so beautiful, thank you for bringing me here.

Aviraj: yaa it is but not more than you .( he said and came closer to me and continued) . You know Sanjh I never brought anyone to this place, no one I mean no one knows about this place . It’s kind of my secret place . Whenever I am sad or want to have some peace or want to get away from the hustle of the world I come here and this place gives me peace.

Sanjh: then why did you brought me here Avi.

Aviraj: because now everything is changed Sanjh , now this place doesn’t give me peace Sanjh .

Sanjh: why ?

Aviraj: because now you have become my peace , my everything.( he said looking into her eyes)

Sanjh: I don’t understand Avi

Aviraj: how do I say. Sanjh you when I saw you first time I thought how could someone look so innocent, cute and beautiful. I was so mesmerised by you that I didn’t know how to react so I just started shouting at you. Then when I came to my senses you were standing there with unshed tears in your eyes and that pinched my heart. Then we became friends and then I don’t know when I started falling for you and then the time came when I was no more falling .(he was telling me his feelings and I was standing shocked and tears were falling from my eyes like a waterfall)

( he came more close to me and put his hand on my cheek and with the other hand he removed my tears)

Aviraj: what I want to say is I love you Sanjh , I love you so much that the thought of you not loving me kills me . I wanted to propose you way before but I was scared that you would reject me and our friendship will also be broken. Please Sanjh say something.

Sanjh: I love you Avi , I love you so much you don’t have any idea how much I love you. ( I said and hugged him tightly, he also hugged me and suddenly he picked me and twirled me) 

Aviraj: I am so happy Sanjh , you don’t know what you have given me . Wait I have brought something for you.

Sanjh: he forwarded a small wrapped box towards me and I opened it . It was a beautiful bracelet with moon and stars charms . 

Will you help me wear it. ( I asked shyly)

Aviraj: sure

( he helped me with the bracelet and came near me , his eyes were on my lips as if asking permission through his eyes to kiss me . He stroked my cheeks and I closed my eyes . He came near my ears and whispered may I? I didn’t say anything just nodded and soon his lips came on mine , he kissed me like there is no tomorrow but at the same time held me so softly that I might break if he applied pressure, he broke the kiss when he realised that I was out of breath but didn’t leave me before pecking my lips one more time)

( I was blushing so hard , I definitely would be giving competition to apples)

I slowly opened my eyes and saw him smiling at me , there was so much love in his eyes , that I couldn’t stop myself and hugged him . He didn’t even took a second and wrapped me in his arms.

Aviraj: Sanjh?

Sanjh: hmm

Aviraj: will you be my girlfriend?

Sanjh: yes ( I said softly )

Aviraj: Thank you Sanjh for coming into my life.

Sanjh: I should thank you Avi for making my life and birthday so beautiful.

Aviraj: let’s go , it will be morning in sometime . We have to reach before sunrise.

( soon we reached in front of my home , he held my hand and said I don’t want to let you go but we don’t have any other choice.)

Sanjh: don’t worry we will meet in the evening, you remember right , you are coming with your parents to our house for dinner .

Aviraj: yes I remember, now go and rest for sometime. And Sanjh happy birthday once again. ( he said and kissed my left cheek)

Sanjh: Thank you.( I replied and immediately went out of the car as it was becoming difficult to hide my blush)

Without making any noise I reached my room and flopped on my bed , rewinding whatever happened tonight .
