The college romance

Chapter 7

Siya’s POV

I can’t believe this I am so happy and excited. I can’t wait to share this with Lalith, he too would be so happy . We always wanted to see Avi and Sanjh together and it’s like God fulfilled our wish . I know Avi likes Sanjh but what about Sanjh does she likes Avi , if not now then in future she will definitely like him in future I will make sure of it . They would look so good together. 

( while I was thinking about my son’s future, a hand was wrapped around my shoulder and scared me. I turned around and saw it was none other than my lovely husband)

Lalith what is this how many times do I have to tell you that don’t scare me like this .

Lalith: but it’s so much fun . I love to see your scared face . You look so cute and adorable.( he said while pinching my cheeks)

Siya: please Lalith grow up , you are a father of a 18 year old son. 

Lalith: so , that doesn’t mean I should stop 

loving my wife.( he said while hugging me and I hugged him back)

Siya : oh my god in all this I forgot to tell you the most important thing.

Lalith: what?

Siya : you know Avi likes a girl and you know who it is?

Lalith: Don’t tell me that he likes some high society, social butterfly. I won’t approve it.

Siya: ohh calm down , first listen to me . He doesn’t like any girl like you described. He likes Sanjh .

Lalith: what? ( he asked shocked)

            Are you serious? You aren’t joking right? 

Siya: no I am joking, he himself told me that he likes Sanjh and also told me what happened today at college. And I also think he is serious about her.

Lalith: he better be because if he hurt her I won’t forgive him.

Siya: trust your son Lalith, he won’t hurt her.

Lalith: how are you so sure about this?

Siya: I know him and I can see it in his eyes , he really likes her. Aren’t you happy? I thought you would be.

Lalith: no no I am very happy. Sanjh is perfect for him . It’s just that I am scared , what if everything went wrong , I don’t want either of them to get hurt . I love them both equally. 

Siya: I know Lalith, don’t worry everything would be good. I have a very good feeling about all this . Do you think Dev and Priya would be fine with this.

Lalith: Don’t worry about that , they both love Avi very much , they won’t have any problem with this.

Plus I think we should give Avi and Sanjh some time and for now we just know Avi’s feelings, we don’t even know if Sanjh likes him or not. 

We should just let love take it’s course.

Siya: yes you are right. Everything would be fine.

Lalith: now leave all this , I am very hungry what’s for dinner.

Siya: oh my god, in all this excitement I forgot to make dinner.

Lalith: hahaha   You are impossible. ( he said laughing)

Siya: stop it , don’t laugh at me.

Lalith: okay okay I will stop . Let’s do one thing let’s go out for dinner.

Siya : okay , you take out the car and I will call Avi.

Lalith: okay, come fast.

                       Aviraj’s POV

After talking with mom I came to my room and settled on my bed . I was so tired that I don’t know when sleep came over me . I woke up when I felt a hand on my head . I sleepily opened my eyes and saw mom in front of me.

Mom are you okay, do you want something.

Mom: no Avi , actually we are going out for dinner as I did not not made anything today . So I came to wake you up . Go get ready fast , your dad is waiting for us .

Aviraj: okay mom give me 5 minutes,I will be downstairs.

Mom: okay come fast.

After 10 minutes we all settled in the car and made our way towards the restaurant.
