An Uncleared Path
While Mrs. Black spoke angrily on the phone,with documents in one,I silently admired the cleaned streets. We drove out of the calm lane into the busy prime way. Mrs. Black finally looked up from the documents in her hands. "Oh! Well,sorry about that,just had to make some phone calls." She smiled.
"Oh,it's fine."
"We have a lot of grounds to cover,from the hair saloon to the makeup and shopping. We have our work cut out for us."
I looked at her strangely. Her hair seems fine to me. "Your hair seems fine Ma. Why do you need to go to the saloon?"
