*Paris's POV*
"Hi.." Dad sits down next to me while I'm watching TV in family room.
"Are you okay, dad?" I raise my eyebrows at him.
"Yes, I'm okay." Dad nods.
"I'm so sorry that you called off the engagement." I half smiled at him.
"It's okay. I did that for your sake. That's not what you want it." Dad says to me.
"You can do that if you're happy." I chuckle.
"Looking at you happy will make me happier. Now can daddy ask you something?"
"Yeah sure. What's up?" I raise my eyebrows and turn off the TV.
"Are you happy?" Dad asks me.
"Daddy, I'm happy." I chuckle.
"How come you look at me in the eyes and lie to me like that? All your friends said that you sort of changed after your mom and I got divorced. And I realized that, you spent more time in your room and you didn't talk too much when you usually talkative. Not annoyingly talkative, you were cheerful." Dad says to me.
"I don't know, dad. I feel like I'm in the middle of something you know. Like I'm looking for something but I don't know what is it." I said to him.
"And Finn told me that he asked you out but you rejected him and said that you don't believe in love or relationship." Dad says to me.
"Yes I don't." I shake my head.
"Why? Hold on, you're not hiding your sexuality right?" Dad frowns at me.
I laugh and shake my head. "No. I had crush on that cute guy across the street but I never talk to him just like stalked him from my window. And for the I don't believe in love, I don't believe it."
"Why is that?" Dad frowns.
"Look at you. You and mom made vows on the wedding 'until death parts us' and that means something? No. It wasn't. So I don't want to waste my time for something that I know it won't last forever. I'd rather to just being quiet." I said to him.
"Is that why you never have a boyfriend?" Dad asks me.
"Kind of. Well, I haven't meet the guy that could change my perspective about love." I chuckle and lean my head on the sofa board.
"I love you, pumpkin. And you are deserve to be happy and I want to see you to be happy. From now on, don't think too much. Your mom and I will try our best to sort things out together." Dad smiles at me.
"I love you too, daddy." I smile back at him and hug him.
Dad hugs me back and rubs my back. I know ever since my parents got divorced I'm not being myself but now I tried my best to bring myself back and being the old me who always happy.

I'm standing in front of my locker and reading at my schedule list. Suddenly my phone is buzzing. I look at it and Sam texted me to meet him in auditorium right now. What's is the thing he is going to show me?
I shut my locker and hold my phone. I walk in the hallways then turn my way to the auditorium. I raise my eyebrows as Sam is sitting down on a picnic blanket along with picnic basket around.
"What is this?" I chuckle.
"I want to have picnic knowing that you always skipped lunch on Wednesday because you don't like the cafeteria vegetables menu on Wednesday." Sam smiles at me.
"How could you know that?" I chuckle and walk closer to him.
"You've told me and I basically watching that you had ton of breakfast this morning." Sam giggles. "Come on, sit. I got food from Breadstix also these garlic bread that I stole from your house, sparkling cider, and your favorite chocolate candy." Sam says while showing off all the food.
"Can I have this food?" I ask him and take the food from the basket.
"Yeah of course." Sam nods and pour the sparkling cider to the cups.
I open the food cover and take a fork then start eating the pasta. "I didn't know that Breadstix is more delicious when takeout." I giggle.
"From now on we both will have our Picnic Wednesday here in auditorium. We can do it by lunch time so we don't have to get too hungry." Sam smiles at me.
"Are you really hungry now?" I chuckle.
"Well, to make it fair, I skipped lunch today. Besides who will eat all of these food?"
"You." I chuckle and eat my food.
Sam takes another food and start eating it. This is really fun to have such thing like this. It's just so sweet and beautiful. I never have a picnic like this before.
"I thought you want to join the others debating about what song we should sing for MJ assignment to against The Warblers. And you love this assignment." I said to him.
"How could you know that?" Sam chuckles.
"You love Michael and you've told me." I smile at him.
"Well, who doesn't? It's like you love Harry Potter and chocolate." Sam chuckles.
"Thank you so much for this late lunch. That's really helpful." I giggle.
"You like it? Let's cheers." Sam raises his cup. I raise my cup and toast it at his.
"You're really sweet, Sam. I'm sure Mercedes will like things like this." I said to him.
"I told you I'm moving on from Mercedes." Sam chuckles.
"But you're taking glances at her in choir room." I raise my eyebrows.
"I'm taking glances at someone next to her." Sam simply said.
"Then at Sugar?" I frown.
"No, the other one. You." Sam simply said.
"Me?" I raise my eyebrows.
"Do you remember when I accidentally said that I set my heart on someone with high maintenance?" Sam asks me.
"So I'm high maintenance?" I chuckle.
"No. Not at all. You're not that girl who easily to tease. That's what makes you look different and so beautiful in my eyes. And ever since I got back from Kentucky, I found a new best friend who always look after me. You helped me got through the rough stuff." Sam says to me.
"Sam, you know that I don't believe in kind of relationship right?" I raise my eyebrows at him.
"I know. And I actually eavesdropped your conversation with your dad that night. And I promise you, I will bring the happiness that gone from your life long time ago. I want to see those beautiful smiles that you showed me on Christmas week. I know this is not who you are and I will help you to make you feel comfortable with yourself again. Everyone said you were that cheerful girl with a beautiful smile and I want to see that girl." Sam smiles at me.
"I feel like I'm lost in the middle of something. Like I'm looking for something but I don't know what is it." I said to him.
"Look, we can take things slowly. But promise me from now on that you will be yourself again. Be that cheerful Paris with her beautiful smile." Sam smiles at me.
"I promise." I smile back at him.
"Pinkie promise?" Sam giggles and shows me his pinkie.
I chuckle and show him my pinkie then cross it around his. Sam pulls his face closer to me and kisses me softly. I kiss him back and then pulls away as we both smiling at each other.

Artie:
Ah, your butt is mine
Gonna take you right, ah
Just show your face
In broad daylight, ah
I'm telling you
On how I feel, ah
Gonna hurt your mind
Don't shoot to kill
Shamone, shamone,
Get on me all right...
Sebastian (with Santana):
Ah, I'm giving you
On a count of three, ah
(To show your stuff)
(Or let it be)
Ah,
I'm telling you
Just to watch your mouth, ah
(I know your game)
(What you're about)
Ah,
Blaine:
But they say the sky's the limit
And to me that's really true, ah
But my friends, you have seen nothing
Just wait 'til I get though
Santana (New Directions and The Warblers):
Because I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
Come on, ah
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
You know it, ah
Uh, you know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
Come on, you know
Santana with New Directions and The Warblers:
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again who's bad
Sebastian:
Ah, ah, the word is out
You're doin' wrong
Gonna lock you up,
Before too long, ah
Artie with Blaine:
Your lyin' eyes
Gonna take you right (Artie: Ah)
Artie:
So listen up
Artie with Santana:
Don't make a fight,
Your talk is cheap,
You're not a man (Artie: Dah)
You're throwin' stones
To hide your hands (Artie: Ah)
Blaine:
But they say the sky's the limit
And to me that's really true, ah
But my friends, you have seen nothing
Just wait 'til I get through
Santana (New Directions and The Warblers):
Because I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
Come on
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
You know it
Uh, you know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really, bad)
Come on, you know
Santana with New Directions and The Warblers:
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again who's bad
Artie:
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Blaine and Sebastian:
Oh, woah, woah, woah, woah
Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah
Santana:
Huuuuh
Artie and Santana:
Hwoah, woah, woah, woah, woah, yeah!
Blaine:
Ah, we can change the world tomorrow
This could be a better place, dah
If you don't like what I'm sayin'
Then won't you slap my face
Santana (New Directions and The Warblers):
(with Blaine: Because I'm bad), I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
Come on, ah
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
You know it, ah
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
Come on, you know
Woo! Woo! Woo!
Santana with New Directions and The Warblers:
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again
Santana (New Directions and The Warblers):
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
You know it, ah
You know I'm bad, (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
You know, woo! Ah
You know I'm bad, I'm bad (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
You know it, you know, ah (Bad, bad, really, really bad)
Santana with New Directions and The Warblers:
And the whole world has to answer right now
Just to tell you once again who's bad?
"Oh! My eyes!" Blaine groaning hurt at the end of the song as Sebastian thrown a slushie at him.
I frown and look at Blaine. Artie take his cellphone out and start calling an ambulance.
"No, no, no!" Sam yells and suddenly takes my hand and pulling me closer to him. I raise my eyebrows at him until a bucket of meat fall down from the ceiling.
"Eww!" I frown.
"Let's get out of here. They're trapping us." Finn says to us and help to carrying Blaine along with Rory.
"Is it weird if I think that those meat kinda delicious?" Sam asks me.
"Sam, we have food at home. And I'm not going to take dirty meat that almost fall down on my body." I roll my eyes.
"I'm imagining eating meatball that crunchy on the outside but soft in the inside with barbeque sauce or that spicy sweet sauce that your mom ever made that day." Sam grins at me.
"You just ate two portions of spaghetti from Breadstix two hours ago." I chuckle.
"Yeah but I'm already hungry." Sam simply said.
"Alright, what if we go home right now and cook those food?" I smile at him.
"Okay but I'll be watching and not helping." Sam simply nod.
"Sure." I chuckle.
I smile and hold Sam's hand. I think it's better to let myself to be happy. I can't deny that Sam makes me happy these days and he taught me to made a choice that I couldn't think about before. He is the best.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"How is he? Is he okay?" Rachel asks Kurt as he walks into the choir room.
"Uh, it's his right eye. Uh, the doctor says that his cornea is deeply scratched and he has to have surgery." Kurt says to us.
"In all my years as a teacher and a student, I have never known a slushee to do that kind of damage." Dad frowns.
"That's 'cause it wasn't a normal slushee, Mr. Schue. There was stuff in it, rocks or something. He wanted to do that damage." Finn says to dad.
"Well, unless you have proof that he tampered with the slushee the police aren't interested in getting involved." Dad says to them.
"Sebastian is evil. He needs to be expelled." Kurt simply said.
"Look, Figgins and I spoke to Dalton's headmaster. They're opening up an investigation. So, guys, I'm telling you, please let the system handle this one." Dad says to us.
"No. Dalton's old-school, Mr. Schue they're not gonna turn their backs on one of their own we need payback." Artie says to dad.
"An eye for an eye." Mike nods.
"No. I have a zero-tolerance policy for violence, of any kind. That's not how we do things." Dad shakes his head.
"No, we sing, and that's all we ever do." Artie protest.
"Do you want to get disqualified from Regionals?" Dad asks Artie.
"I don't give a damn about Regionals. What do you expect from us? We're people. I know the rest of the world may not see us like that, but when they tease us and throw stuff at us and toss us in Dumpsters and tell us that we're nothing but losers with stupid dreams, it freaking hurts. And we're supposed to turn the other cheek and be the bigger man by telling ourselves that those dreams and how hard we work make us better than them, but it gets pretty damn hard to feel that way when they always get to win." Artie says to dad.
"I get how upsetting this is for you." Dad says to Artie.
"No, you don't, and don't give me any of that "it gets better" crap because I'm not interested in it getting any better. I want it to be better, like, right now. I want to hurt them the way they hurt us. No, worse. I want them to feel my pain because frankly that's all I have left to give." Artie says angrily.
"Artie, take a break. We'll be here when you get back." Dad stops Artie.
Artie sighs and wheels away from the choir room. I half smiled and let out a sigh. "Look, if we can find a proof what Sebastian put in that slushie, he will get arrested right?" I ask them.
"Technically, yes." Dad nods.
"He put a rock salt." I simply said.
"Hold on, how could you know that?" Dad frowns.
"Because I'm a little bit psychic?" I raise my eyebrows. "But no I have logic answer for that. Rock salt makes ice gets colder and what Sebastian threw was slushied which was cold made from ice. If he puts rock sugar, there will be impossible because at that duration number that rock sugar will be melted and it won't scratch Blaine's cornea instead it will make his face sticky. And if it was pebble or rock, we will hear a little sound of rock or pebble from that slushie cup when Blaine got slushied because rock is heavier than rock salt and you can easily find a rock in a slushied but not rock salt because they mostly colorless." I said to them.
"That is one analytical and make sense." Mike nods.
"But the police still won't believe us if we have proof is a Wikipedia about rock salt." Dad says to us.
"But daddy, if we follow the system it won't be finish until next year." I sigh.
"No. I'm not going to let anyone of you getting hurt anymore. Especially you." Dad says to me.
The bell rings. I let out a sigh and walk out from the choir room holding my bag on my back. I put my hand inside my jeans pocket and walk into my locker. I'm thinking how will I get the proof of the slushied?
~~
I walk downstairs and turn my way to the kitchen and Sam is half laying down on the couch while eating food and watching TV. I take a milk box from the fridge then pour into my glass.
"You didn't sleep?" I ask Sam.
"There is a cockroach under the bed and it kept me awake so I watched TV." Sam says to me.
I take my glass and walk to the family room and sit down next to him holding my glass and sipping my milk.
"What is this?" I ask him.
"The Facts of Life. It's amazing. It's about this old redheaded lady who runs this boarding school for lesbians. And then I think the lesbian school burns down. So now the old redheaded lady opened up this pot dispensary called Edna's Edibles." Sam says to me.
"Sam you got..." I frown at him and point to his chin.
"Oh.." Sam nods and wipes his chin with his hand. "You know when you're hungry you can just mix and match an emergency pasta with instant pasta sauce."
"Let me try." I said to him and take a spoon of his food and eat it. "Not bad." I smile at him.
"Get another spoon!" Sam rolls his eyes.
"Nope." I shake my head and keep eating the food the feed Sam. "Delicious right?" I smile at him.
"Yes!" Sam giggles and open his mouth again.
I continue feeding him and feed myself while watching this lesbian show. Sam leans his head on the sofa board and just having the blanket on his lap. I look at him while eating the food. I think I found something new in my life.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I raise my eyebrows and walk into the choir room with the others as Santana called us and tell us to meet here.
"Before Mr. Schue gets here, come on. Brittany, lock the door." Santana says.
"I don't know how to do that." Brittany sighs.
"Um, what's going on?" Rachel asks Santana.
"We've got the Warblers right where we want them. And because he's the smoothest criminal I know, Artie was able to find a spy store that sells top-secret surveillance equipment." Santana grins at us.
"Not top-secret. I just got a tape recorder from OfficeMax." Arti simply said.
"Okay, okay, whatever. In any case, I taped it to my underboob when we went to Dalton, and I got Sebastian on tape admitting that there was rock-salt in that slushee that blinded Blaine. Now, all we have to do is send this tape to the po-po, and that little bitchlet is headed to juvie." Santana says and plays the record.
"Admit it. Tell me the truth. What did you put in that slushee? Rock salt."
"No. No, we're not doing that." Kurt shakes his head.
"Why? Kurt, this isn't violent. This is clever. I taped it to my underboob. So he gets kicked out of school." Santana frowns.
"The Warblers still do Michael, and they still beat us. Look, I want to see Sebastian's head turning on a spit, but I've realized that you can't go looking for payback every time the world wrongs you. If Michael went after all the haters, he would have never had any time to do all that amazing music. So, we're not gonna punish the Warblers.
We're gonna teach them a lesson, and I think I know how. I've reserved the auditorium, so if you all just follow me." Kurt says to us and walks out from the choir room.
"Oh, wait. If Kurt would have taped this to his junk, I would have never heard the end of it. We would have had a whole week of songs about it." Santana rolls her eyes.
"I was right. But none listen to me before." I let out a sigh.
"Come on." Sam takes my hand and walks lead me. "I listened to you okay."
"Yeah but..nevermind." I shake my head. "It's just I agree with Santana. Kurt said he wanted Sebastian to get expelled and now we got the proof to make him get expell but then he wants to sing a song for them? Crazy." I frown.
"Calm down." Sam chuckles and rubs my hair.
We then walk to the auditorium. I raise my eyebrows and sit down on the stereo while Kurt is standing in the middle of the stage waiting for the Warblers to come.
"Nice of you to show." Artie says as they're walking in.
"Is whatever this is gonna take long? I can't stand the stench of public schools." Sebastian says.
"It won't take long, and all you have to do is sit and listen." Quinn simply said.
"We're not doing Michael for Regionals." Artie says to them.
"I didn't think you'd surrender that easily." Sebastian chuckles.
"We're tired of the fighting and the backstabbing. We're show choirs. We're supposed to be supportive of each other." Kurt says to them.
"This is what we call taking the high road, which I was shocked to find out has nothing to do with marijuana." Puck says.
"Just because you're doing Michael doesn't mean you understand Michael." Artie glares at them.
"And you do?" Sebastian chuckles.
"Yes. And we're about to show you." Mercedes simply said as the music start begin.
Artie:
Ow, ow
I took my baby on a Saturday bang
But is that girl with you?
Yes, we're one and the same
Rachel:
Now I believe in miracles
And a miracle has happened tonight
Hee, ah
Artie with Rachel and New Directions:
But, if you're thinking about my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white
Artie:
Ooh
Kurt:
They print my message in the Saturday sun
I had to tell them I ain't second to none
Mercedes (with Santana):
And I told about equality
Ain't it true, either you're (wrong or you're right)
Santana (Artie):
Woo (Uh)
Artie with Rachel and New Directions:
But, if you're thinking about my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white
Artie:
Hee
Don't bet
Rachel:
Heehee
Santana with New Directions:
I am tired of this devil
I am tired of this stuff
I am tired of this business
So, when the going get rough
I ain't scared of your brother
I ain't scared of no sheets
I ain't scared of nobody
Girl, when the going get mean
Artie:
Protection for gangs, clubs, and nations
Causing grief in human relations
It's a turf war on a global scale
I'd rather hear both sides of the tale
See, it's not about races, just places, faces
Where your blood comes from is where your space is
I've seen the bright get duller
I'm not going to spend my life being a color
Kurt (with Mercedes):
Don't tell me you agree with me
When I saw you kicking (dirt in my eye)
Artie with Rachel, Santana, and New Directions:
But, if you're thinking about my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white
I said if you're thinking of being my baby
It don't matter if you're black or white
Artie with Mercedes and New Directions:
I said if you're thinking of being my brother
It don't matter if you're black or white
Santana:
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Woo
Rachel:
Black or white
Artie with New Directions (New Directions):
It's black, it's white (Oh, oh, oh)
(with Santana: It's tough for you to get by) (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
It's black, it's white (Rachel: Yeah) (Artie: Woo)
(It's tough for you to get by) (Santana: Yeah, yeah)
It's black, it's white (Santana: Woo)
It's tough for you to get by (Yeah, yeah, yeah) (Rachel: Black or white)
It's black, it's white (Artie: Woo)
(It's tough for you to get by)
It's black, it's white (Santana: Woo, come on)
It's tough for you to get by (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
It's black, it's white (Artie: Woo) (Santana: Oooh)
(It's tough for you to get by)
It's black, it's white
It's tough for you to get by (Yeah, yeah, yeah)
It's black, it's white (Artie: Woo)
"Very moving." Sebastian applauding annoyingly.
"Come on, Sebastian. Give it up." A Warbler says to him.
"That is the kind of attitude that lost us Regionals last year." Sebastian glares at them.
"I could call the cops or your headmaster and get you kicked out of school or even arrested for assaulting Blaine with that slushee." Santana grins at him.
"All of this would be just awfully terrifying if you had any proof whatsoever." Sebastian chuckles.
"You mean like you on tape admitting to it?" Santana gasps and show him the tape.
"But you know what? It just wouldn't be as much fun winning Regionals if you weren't there to suffer through all the agony of defeat." Kurt says to him.
"At least now, all your teammates get to know exactly what kind of guy you are." Santana simply said.
"Now get the hell out of my auditorium. School's out!" Artie yells.
