I have so much fun with Harper and Elias, I don't think I've had two characters take me quite as much by surprise as these two in quite a while! For anyone who doesn't know, I always plot my stories before I sit down to write them, but I do also give myself the leeway to change things if they go off in a slightly different direction (it tends to result in a better story from what I've experienced!) In this case, Elias and Harper haven't exactly gone off the plot, but they did do a couple of things that took me by surprise - most notably sleeping together on their first date, and later leaving the door open.
