Chapter Five "Hands out," one of the guards demands after bursting into the flat unannounced. Not that they ever think to tell me they're coming in. I don't think they care if I'm changing or not. "Why?" I ask. Elias clears his throat from behind the annoying guy. I don't need any more than that to know he thinks it's a good idea. I'm not sure why he thinks that, but hopefully I'll find out sooner rather than later. I hold out my hands and let the guard clip the heavy handcuffs around my wrists.
