“Just go away!” Jade screamed when the knock came at her front door. She didn’t want to move off her bed or see anyone. She just wanted to wallow in self mourning. She wanted to remember Eric and their time together. Just be with him in the only way she could be, memory. It made no sense. She could only see him in the dream world if he was still alive. She wasn’t in a dream she knew that. Their feelings, the things they did. It was all too real. “Jade, answer the door. It’s Alexander.” The voice carried out through the cabin but she wasn’t angry about it. His voice was so full of concern and pain she knew he was feeling what she was feeling.
