"If you take my children out of this house I will rip you to shreds!" Jade's words stung him in the heart, but he couldn't let her know it. Nikolas sighed, stood up and walked to the heavy wood door that led out of the room where the cage was. He could feel Jade panic and then came the screaming. "Nik! NO! Let me out! NIKOLAS!" His hand clenched around the door knob and a deep rumble rippled through his chest.
