Jade fell into his arms and for a moment he wasn’t sure what to do. It was like his mind just went blank and he wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do. The world went silent around him and he was looking down at his beautiful little wolf passed out in his arms. What had he done? What had that damned ash done? She looked dead. If it wasn’t for the involuntary shallow breaths he would have thought she was dead.
