It took me more than two weeks to track her down. I’d searched every corner of the city and come up empty. I’d had to rake through social media in my shitty motel room and hang around outside dive bars in the hope someone might have seen her.
And yet, there had been nothing.
Until this morning, when I’d overheard some guys outside a cafe talking about a hot girl they’d seen the other night, a shifter with dark hair who worked weekends at Mick’s place.
That had caught my attention, and the lucky break had led me all the way here, to a bar in the middle of the city. I’d been watching Allara work all night. She really was a sight for sore eyes, even after all this time.
