PUBLIC APPEARANCE ~TESSA'S POV~ I stared at myself in the full-length mirror, barely recognizing the woman looking back. The emerald green dress Nathaniel had sent over fit perfectly, hugging my curves in all the right places. The jewelry was real…I could tell by the weight of it. The shoes cost more than my rent. But I felt like I was playing dress-up. "You look beautiful," Nathaniel said from behind me. I turned to find him adjusting his cufflinks.
