Episode 5- Promise

Jennie POV:

..there are times that make me think about the life I have..

I just want my family to be happy, my dad will come back to us and my mom I don't want to see her hurt anymore..

I love them both but I'm the one who has the most difficulty in this situation.

Mom grabbed the phone from me when she heard dad's voice..Is there anything else she can do if I miss my dad so much?? what the h***!

I didn't realize that I ran out of Lisa's house.. the rain was so strong and at the same time tears were falling from my eyes.

I just ran and ran and I was so tired that I cried loudly in the tunnel, with every scream..and I knew no one could hear or see the pain I was feeling.

but Lisa's smiles suddenly came to my mind..

She misses her dad too, but despite that, her sadness is not obvious in her smiles.

I smiled a little, and I remembered Lisa's face in my mind.

..and later on, I heard a girl shouting unnie, my heart beat even more differently when I heard her voice, I felt a strange joy just now..

so I ran up to her and hugged her from behind..

"..Lisa thank you and you are here..

don't leave me please..."

I would probably be more afraid if ...

..Ugghh~what am I thinking now?

and Lisa slowly faced me while I hugged her and show her smile again..

"I will never leave you, I promise you that, unnie.."

I was just surprised by her response,

I can see her concern for me in her teary eyes..but isn't she angry that I ran in the rain?

and she hugged me tighter..

"..Does anything hurt? just say it and I'll always be here to accompany and sympathize with you unnie.. if you want to cry, just cry until you release all the pain you feel.."

I feel better from what she said..

"Lisa.. promise me that you won't change, I hope you'll still look for me and comfort me like this every time I don't know what to do with my life.."

" Yes I promise Unnie..promise..but also promise me from now on that you will not face this pain alone, coz I am here.."

We swore that such a thing would never happen again and I smiled at her again.

The rain didn't want to stop, but since we were both wet from the rain, I asked her to carry me on her back and go to their home.

She just scratched her head and look at me..

she had no choice but to follow me.

I was carrying her behind her..and later on when we heard something strange inside the tunnel, we just swallowed and when a shadow was reflected we screamed and Lisa ran quickly carrying me behind her.

It was a strange experience, I was very nervous..but luckily Lisa was with me, she found me in that place.

There was a bit of slow motion in that scene. feel each drop of rain and hear each other's laughter.

Instead of the sadness I felt, I was happy to be with her.

Lisa POV:

..finally got home safely. My Mom and Mrs. Kim were waiting outside the door when we got home earlier. her mother hugged Jennie tightly and she also apologized to her.

Now we were here in my room..holding her hands, coz I'm making sure she can't leave anymore, Hahah maybe she'll suddenly run again but just kidding.

"Lisa.." she said softly.

"Ye-yes unnie?"Am I attracted by her voice? why her voice so cute? ugghhh~~~

"Lisa promise me to be with me no matter what happens..understand?"

I could see in her eyes that she was serious about what she said, I was melting as she looked at me while she held my hands.

"Unnie..I will also not allow you to lose me or leave me, but I will always put you in my heart so that you will never be lost..I promise to be your friend fore~~~."

and I was just surprised when she suddenly kissed my cheek, this is the first feeling that I feel like I'm in a cloud of sky, that I can't really explain what's inside me..my gosh~~

and she lay down next to me after she did that,

" I hope it won't rain tomorrow, we have something important to do so you should wake up early in the morning Lisa.."

and she yawned, obviously sleepy.

but when you look at me I still can't move on from what she did, it's like I don't want to wash my face anymore so that she won't lose her kiss on me.. haha what a great day with my unnie.

"I promise I'm here for you Miss Jennie Kim..good night.."
