Chapter 15 James stood outside his barracks that late August night staring at the cloudless sky and the full Grain moon pointing its heavenly spotlight onto the camp, the mountains casting their peak-and-valley shadows, the vast barrier more imposing in the obscurity. He felt fidgety, James, his nerve endings sparking like Independence Day firecrackers because he knew Sarah was close.
