Part 2

With a jerk, I woke up thinking that I am late but when I checked the watch, there were still 20 mins to 6. By seeing this I smiled and went for my bath. 

After finishing my bath, I wore a sky blue kurta and light blue leggings with a matching scarf. I headed towards the dining table to have my breakfast. I started having my breakfast when my father came and asked, " so all set for the first day? "

"yes, all set ", I replied cheerfully.

" That's good my child! so now you are a big girl haan? ", my father asked to which I giggled and my father smiled and said, " all the best beta " and I replied with a quiet thank you. 

After collecting and checking my things twice, I went towards my mother. Where she shoved a mix of sugar and curd ( its a superstition that having this mixture of curd and sugar before doing any important work is auspicious) in my mouth saying all the best.

I stepped out of the building and went towards the cab which I had hired today to go to the office .

I sat in the cab and we started heading towards our destination. My phone buzzed indicating a text message which was from Samaira and Shanaya .

I smiled looking at the screen and texted back,

Thanks!

Ur welcome !! Reached ?? , she texted back

No! It will take more 20 mins !! 

Are you mad? it's already 9:05 !! Sabke saamne entry maaregi kya?

Aree what can I do? So much traffic jam is there na, What can I tell ) but I guess I will be there in the next 15 mins.

******After 15 mins******

As soon as I reached the office, I paid the cab driver the fare and stepped out of the cab and headed towards the gigantic building of glass. As soon as I entered, I smelled the air-conditioned air which helped me to calm down. The waiting room had n number of luxurious and expensive couches adjacent to the waiting room, there was the grand reception desk.

I walked up to the receptionist, Where a lady was sitting and working on the computer on seeing me there she asked,

"yes mam, how can I help you? "

"well, actually I wanted to know where the freshers are supposed to go ?"

"Ohh !!! actually the fresher's are having an introductory session which will be conducted in the conference hall on the second floor "

"okay thank you !!! "

Ae Bhagwan !!! Khali panch min Bache Hain !! ( oh god ! only 5 mins are left )

I paced towards the elevator and waited for the elevator to reach the ground floor as it was on the 4th floor. When the elevator stopped on the 2nd floor while coming back to the ground floor I heard somebody barking on the phone. The way he was talking was a clear example that he was holding an important position in the company and I just prayed that the elevator reaches on the ground floor as soon as possible so that I can avoid this arrogant man. Finally, the elevator reached and I went inside it and pressed the 2nd floor.

Thank you, God! Had a narrow miss.

But I guess I thanked god too soon, As when the elevator doors were on the verge of closing a masculine hand stopped the doors from closing and I knew that the man who has stopped the elevator is none other than that arrogant man.

Ae Bhagwan !!!!!!!!!!! main toh gayi !!!!!! ( oh God! I am gone !!!!!!!!)

Today's day is hopeless

As the doors opened, I stepped aside. So that he can enter the elevator. He entered and pressed the button for the 5th floor. As the doors closed, I looked at him to find him already staring at me with furrowed eyebrows and confused expression. Of course, he must be wondering who am I, as I am new to this office.

He was wearing a charcoal button-down shirt with a black blazer which he had paired with black shoes, To say he was handsome would be an understatement. My breathing hitched, As i stared at him with a tensed expression. He was going to ask something when the elevator dinged and I rushed out of the elevator in a jet speed towards the conference room where the session for the freshers was going to start.

As I entered the conference room. I saw many clueless faces waiting for the person who will be leading us. I went and sat on the available chair as I was the last fresher to enter. Just as I settled on my place, The conference's room door opened to reveal a good looking man.

The man was looking like he was in the mid-20s as he was scanning the crowd his gaze lingered on me for few seconds (and I knew why because the look on my face was like I am living a nightmare). After having a good look around the crowd he said,

" good morning! My name is Vihaan and I will be the one training you for the next two months before you are assigned to your respective jobs. I want you to pay your full attention to these two months and learn the information with utmost concentration. So let's start with the introduction and then we will proceed further "

With this everybody started introducing themselves. During the introduction, The girl sitting adjacent to me smiled at me and I returned her smile. I instantly liked her. As the introductions were going on, we started chatting. Actually, it was more like whispering to each other. While we are chatting, I sensed a gaze over me.

I looked around to find that Vihaan was staring at me and when I caught him staring, he smiled. I couldn't help but force a smile and stopped talking with her.

Aur karo baat ! Yahaan par introduction chal raha hai aur main yahan par guppe ladda rahi hoon . Yeh toh accha hua ki usne sabke saamne daata nahi warna saara din kharab ho jaata !!

After this incident, I didn't speak to anyone as I knew he was subtly observing everyone. After the introductions, He explained to us that what are we going to do in these two months and he was pretty good at it.

At the ending of the session, he said," Now I would like you to meet the head of the marketing department, Mr Aryan Khanna "

As he said this, A man came inside the conference room but I could not see the man as he had his back towards us and he was talking with Vihaan. 

After a few mins, he turned and my eyes went wide at the realisation.

Yes, He was the same man from the elevator.

I tried hiding behind Neha so that I can avoid his gaze but I was too late as our eyes met and he smiled. Seeing the look on his face, it was clear that he had caught on too what I was trying to do. I looked away from his gaze feeling totally embarrassed when he said,

" Hey everyone, I am Aryan Khanna! I hope you all are clear with the schedule of the next two months. All the very best for your training " with this he left the conference room and we resumed our training.

By the end of the day, we all were damn tired but we enjoyed. The whole training session was fun. I came to know my team more closely which included Neha, Piya, Aayan and Simran. 

After our work was over. I and Neha decided to go home together as she lives nearby me.

By the time I reached home, it was 7 in the evening. Getting into my PJs and a t-shirt, I called Samaira and narrated the list of events that happened on the day,

Now you must be thinking that why I just called Samaira and not Shanaya. The reason is that this girl is no less than the BBC news channel!!

" Are you serious? ", Samaira asked and I replied, "mad do you think I will joke regarding these matters.

"no-no, I just like that asked", she replied 

" okay " I answered and then we talked about her day after which I disconnected the call and went out to have my dinner.

Today was totally insane
