I woke up late in the night to see Gnero was fast asleep and I knew this was the perfect time to escape because I’m sure the guards outside had wasted themselves so they’d also be fast asleep.
I moved cautiously to the door, my eyes darting nervously to the bed to make sure he wasn’t awake. With my back against the wall, my bare feet lifted as it walked to the door, trying not to make a sound.
Soon, I grabbed the handle and as I turned the door creaked making a sound and I paused, making sure I wasn’t caught. Seeing everything was clear, I slipped out of the room and I ran down the hallway.
My face was filled with a smile as i realized I’ve managed to outsmart Gnero who thought he was all that. I continued walking until I was outside of the mansion.
